Welcome to Virgil's Workbench, where I take things apart and figure out how things work with a side of general technical stuff.

New Upload: I put a Hair Dryer in a carboard box to see what would happen in my Part 3 of the Hair Dryer Series. It was more difficult than I thought to get it to burn or melt. I'm glad to be done with the hairdryer series ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bB29J... )

New Upload: I cut open a several Golf Balls to see if anyone still uses the long rubber band ball for the cores. I picked up a mix of brands — Kirkland Signature, Pinnacle, Wilson Ultra, and Top Flite (including the Hot XL). Video is only 5 minutes, but its interesting what is in a modern Golf Ball. They all use slightly different formulas.

New Upload: I actually did it. Dropped a running hair dryer in a grounded bucket of water to see if the safety on the cord works. A little bit scarry as I did it making sure I did it in a safe way. Definitely don't try this yourself.
