Hello & welcome to the Amandus Family! 2019 and 2020 have brought many changes for us. In the summer of 2019, Keturah first lost her Mom to pancreatic cancer. Her Daddy passed away shortly after, mostly from a heartbreak of losing his wife of almost 60 years. In the summer of 2020 Keturah lost her teaching position at Zeke & Apphia's school and then in the fall of 2020 Nick lost his job as well.
But there's ALWAYS a silver lining... right??! We have been blessed with the gift of 15 acres of the family farm where Keturah grew up. After being inspired by homesteading & farming families like Sow the Land, Justin Rhodes, Lumnah Acres, GoldShaw Farm, Art & Bri, Jill Winger, CogHill, and Arms Family we have decided to start our own little family farm! We've only ever raised pigs (for 4H) and dogs... so this is going to be one HUGE and exciting journey for our family! We're starting this channel so our friends and family can join us for the learning, fun, and chaos!
