There are two easy ways to become famous as a faculty.

1. Pull someone else down.
Criticise other teachers.
Tell students why others are “bad”.
Create controversy.
And then explain why you are better.

2. Keep your head down and work.
Teach better.
Improve your content.
Help students genuinely.
And let your students and results speak for you.

Unfortunately, over the last few years, I have seen the first approach becoming increasingly common in the CA Final teaching ecosystem.

And I genuinely wonder do students really benefit from faculty wars?

Students already have enough pressure:
Exams.
Attempts.
Career decisions.
Expectations from family.

They don't need to be made part of someone else's competition.

You don't need to make another teacher look small to prove that you are good.

Good teaching eventually gets noticed.
Good work compounds.
And student trust is built through value, not controversy.

Personally, I would always choose the second path:

Work quietly.
Create value.
Let the work speak.

For many professionals, joining Tata Mutual Fund is a dream.

Today, I had the privilege of entering that organisation not as an employee, but as a trainer to its CXOs.

I conducted a session on AI for Leadership, exploring how senior leaders can use AI to make better decisions, improve productivity, and transform the way their teams work.

When I started exploring AI, I never imagined that the journey would one day take me into a room with some of the most experienced leaders in the financial services industry.

Standing there and sharing my knowledge was both humbling and emotional.

It reminded me that sometimes, the opportunities we receive are bigger than the dreams with which we started.

Grateful to Tata Mutual Fund for the trust and opportunity.

This is not the destination. It is the beginning of a much bigger mission to make AI practical and impactful for leaders and organisations across India.

ICAI has proposed a revision in CA articleship stipend.

As per the proposed structure, first-year articles may get around ₹5,000/month in bigger cities.

But the bigger question is:

Is this revision enough, considering the cost of living, travel, food, and the kind of work articles do during training?
