Here goes nothing 🤞 I was really nervous and hesitant to put this out, but I wanted the first video on my personal channel, ‪@BreakingBradOfficial‬ to be honest and raw. I know a lot of you that have followed TM, know some of my background, but I decided to put it all out there with no sugarcoating.

My hopes for this channel is to help people and talk about topics like mental health, addiction, physical health, business, entrepreneurship and anything else to help people better their lives and careers. This channel is just as much for me as it is for anyone else. It's a place to share my thoughts and experiences. I don't care about making money with it. This is just a passion project.

I've finally finished the MERN From Scratch course revamp. I am extremely happy with it. It is a 12-hour course that is dedicated to building one real-world eCommerce project using MERN + Redux Toolkit. Little poll for you guys to see what my audience would prefer:

I am working on a YouTube project. It will be a conference directory app Built with React and a platform called Altogic, which is similar to Firebase. It will have full authentication capabilities, confirmation emails, etc. I can't decide if I want to go SSR or SPA.

Which would you prefer? Please vote if you are interested in the project. I am spending quite a bit of time on this and I want to make sure I give you guys what you want. I love NextJS, but I know that not everyone has experience with it.

Hey Everyone,


Traversy Media will be expanding a bit. I am proud to announce that ‪@DennisIvy‬ and ‪@JamesQQuick‬ will be part of the Traversy Media YouTube channel team of creators.


I have been doing this for a LONG time. It has been over a decade since I started doing content. As I am getting older, I am finding it harder and harder to keep releasing videos every single week. I do struggle with some health issues that make it really difficult to work some days. I also have a ton of course updates and other things that I need to attend to.


With that said, I will be bringing on other educators that I feel have similar styles to my own. People that are down to earth and can explain things in an easy-to-digest manner. We will have our ongoing contributors as well as occasional guests. To be clear, I am NOT going to stop creating videos for the channel. I will continue with new crash courses, projects, and talking head videos. I just can't do it alone anymore.


I know some of you only want me to do the videos here, and I get that, but please try to understand where I am coming from. I had a big burnout in 2020 that severely affected my mental and physical health and had to stop doing videos altogether for a few months. I want to prevent that from happening again. I also want to grow Traversy Media and be able to offer even more free education that goes into topics and technologies beyond what I know personally. I can only know and do so much.


I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for watching my stuff and allowing me to do this for a living. I know it sounds a bit corny, but I promise to never stop giving this channel and company my all and I hope that you will continue the ride with me. Thanks so much!

Hey Everyone,

I have been struggling a bit with my ongoing health issues and it's been really tough to do everything that I need to do. With that said, I decided to take a little vacation to try and refresh. For the next few weeks, I will be uploading projects from some of my paid courses, such as my 20 Vanilla JS Projects course. I will compile them into single videos for you guys.

I also have some courses that I really need to get done by the end of the year. One of which is a freelancing course that I am teaming up with Kyle Prinsloo for. You can sign up to get notified when the course is released at freelancemastery.dev
