This early underground political scene is a highly relevant period, especially for today's revolutionary movement, since - much like now in the West - Russia's Marxists were scattered into smaller collectives, still looking to formulate a coherent plan & strategy, combining theory with the concrete struggles of the workers, forming the basis for a nationwide revolutionary party.
