TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 8TH FEBRUARY 2026)

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 39TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY

The LORD would not have given us a word known as STRATEGIC VICTORY if we were not in battle. Life itself is a battle. The Christian faith is a call to battle. That is why the apostolic consider the Church “an army” and those who are born again “soldiers.”

Sadly, many do not even know this, hence living a defeated Christian life.

Satan fights us as God’s army that is why spiritual warfare is usually intense. If we do not know that we are called into battle, and the fight we are called into is a good fight of faith, we will always be engaged in the bad fight of faith and come our defeated.

I spoke about a bad fight of faith sometimes back. Yes, there is a bad fight for faith! When you use bottles of Oil instead of the power of the Holy Spirit in prayers, you are engaged in a bad fight of faith. When you take drinking of Oil as receiving the Holy Spirit, you are engaged in a bad fight of faith.

When you think you can use mustard seeds, brooms, mats, and pieces of clothes to defeat the devil permanently, you are engaged in a bad fight of faith.

The God of Heaven and Earth called us into a good fight of faith not a bad fight. Paul said, “Fight the good fight of faith; lay hold on eternal life.” A good fight of faith will result in one laying hold on eternal life.

The verse also means that it will always take a good fight of faith to lay hold on to anything significant in life. It presents faith as a major instrument in spiritual warfare. The Bible also presents divine wisdom as an instrument. It says wisdom is the principal thing. That in all our getting, we should get wisdom and get understanding.

UNDERSTANDING IS COMPREHENSION.

When you comprehend you apprehend. To apprehend means to lay hold on something. It takes comprehension to lay hold on anything in Christ Jesus. People who strife to comprehend things in Christ, will always develop the wit to stand against their enemies. They will always be able to win because of their wit. That is why warriors do not just rise against their enemies.

They know that it is one thing to stand against the enemy and another to win.

They know they could stand and not win, so they will first seek wisdom for battle before going into battle. They do not fight with emotions but with wits. They go after God’s word until divine wisdom begin to flow in their hearts before rising against the enemy.

Having access to divine wisdom is therefore one of the best things that can happen to a man.

In our devotional today, we will be looking at a major key that grants a man access to divine wisdom. I call it sound doctrine. The wisdom of God is sound wisdom known in the early church as sound doctrine. It is not demonic or worldly; it is spiritually sound. That is why you will never be able to walk in it without encountering sound doctrine.

One way to defeat the enemy is to be sound in your wisdom and in your faith. But you cannot be sound without listening regularly to sound doctrine. I have come to discover that there are three classes of Christians.

The first is the totally free Christians whose salvation was based on sound doctrine. These breeds are totally free from habitual sins, and do not take God’s mercy or grace for granted. They make use of it to live right before God and man. They walk in divine wisdom and will not be found where false or unsound doctrines are taught!

THEN WE HAVE THE PARTIALLY FREE CHRISTIANS.

These are the ones whose salvation is not total because of the kind of gospel that brought them into Christianity. They sing in the Choir and still go to club houses when they feel drawn. They are not free from the sins they lived in before joining the faith; hence they are always found in them and explaining it away!

They will take a Church man or women to bed even after praying loud prayers in Church and say it does not matter. They do not know that it is foolish to feed on sin and say it does not matter! They take God’s mercy and grace for granted because their salvation is not based on sound doctrine but heresies that breed the deception they are holding onto.

They walk in human wisdom and spiritual foolishness calling it “grace.” You always find them where heresies and false doctrines are taught. They are the ones that devils are always with because they always have food for him in their lives. It was this class of Christians Apostle Paul rebuked in one of his letters when he wrote:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV

Then we have the third class of Christians who are not free at all from sin or Satan. They are just traditional. The only difference between them and unbelievers is that they go to Church. This breed is yet to encounter the LORD.

They are not even aware of anything in the Bible apart from the stories told in Sunday school and what they hear from their dead spiritual leaders. You put them off if you speak about sound doctrine or anything spiritual. They operate in either the wisdom of men or that of devils.

WHEN YOU TELL THEM ABOUT BIBLICAL POSITION OF THINGS THEY WILL SAY “KEEP THE BIBLE ASIDE. THIS IS NOT CHURCH.”

Like I stated earlier, they are not different from the lost sinners out there in spirit. However, God wants all Christians to be sound in faith. God wants us to operate in sound wisdom. It takes sound doctrine to be sound in faith and operate in sound wisdom.

A major highlight in our devotional text said ““For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,” The amplified version put that scripture in this tense.

“ For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold,

and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable].” 2 Timothy 4:3-4 AMP

Sadly, we are at that time now. Most prefer following what is working not what is true. Joining Church or becoming a Christian is now determined by the financial gains and reward one will get for doing so. We forget that we go to church to be discipled and trained to do the word and will of God, touch the lives of others positively, live a holy life, and make Heaven.

We detest Preachers who teaches sound doctrines and call them names. That is why we walk in foolishness and call God “Satan” and Satan “God.”

We can go on and on, but like I always state this is not a book. This is a devotional, and I believe the LORD has shared with you a few things that have added to your wisdom bank.

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord.”

Thus says the Lord: "Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. Where is the house that you will build Me? And where is the place of My rest?

For all those things My hand has made, and all those things exist," Says the Lord. "But on this one will I look: On him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at My word.” Isaiah 66:1-2 NKJV

WELCOME TO THE 38TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY

God has been so faithful and gracious to both the faithful and faithless. He has been so merciful to us even in seasons when we do not deserve mercy. He has been patient, so patient that many sinners now think He does not even exist.

What an irony to believe that the one who gave you life does not exist. Then you would not have existed.

I remember a story told by the Late Billy Graham. He said an Atheist once stood to Blaspheme against GOD. He screamed all kinds of unprintable things at God and said all manner of things standing before a preacher. Then he said to the preacher if your God is alive let him strike me dead now.

But the preacher looked at him with deep love for his soul and responded “whatever you have said is too small to exhaust the patience of my GOD.” That was the end of the story.

Our patience as men can easily be exhausted by a moment of provocation but God’s patience is too deep to be exhausted by an angry atheist or any other sinful soul that may be involved in all kinds of wicked acts. God’s patience will not even allow Him to strike the most valiant offender dead.

The Bible says:

“The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up” 2 Peter 3:9-10 NKJV

One major reason why God is so patient with men is because of the nature of His fury.

IT CAN BURN FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION BECAUSE EVERYTHING ABOUT GOD IS TIMELESS.

If you look at the second verse of the scripture above, you will see another reason why God’s patience cannot be easily exhausted by even the most valiant offender. His fury can consume the whole world. In fact, it is His fury that will refurbish the earth after the great tribulation period (a period described in Bible prophecy as 7 years of God’s fury).

If there is something you are doing wickedly that you have not receive a blow from God for it, please do not take His patience for approval of your sinful or wicked acts. The purpose of god’s patience with sinners is revealed by what apostle Peter wrote in the scripture we just read – repentance. That is the purpose.

God’s apostle said, “God is patience towards us because He is no willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”

Sometimes we wonder why certain wicked people in our age and time are not punished instantly by the LORD for the terrible things they do. Sometimes we wonder why people will touch God’s Holy men and women and go free. Yes, these things can be troublesome a times – why is God not acting, we ask.

God is not acting because what exhaust our patience with wicked and terrible people does not exhaust His patience with them. No human or any created thing can stand the power of god’s fury. That is why he is not quick at releasing it.

That in anyway does not suggest that they are right! God is just restraining Himself from using the nuclear option. I have heard people who pray against wicked men, living shorter than the wicked men they prayed against. It does not mean God validated the wicked; His patience is saving them from His blows.

YOU SEE, GOD’S PATIENCE WITH THE ERRING CAN BE CONFUSING SOMETIMES TO THE RIGHTEOUS.

I listened to the political leaders of nations with nuclear weapons share. They said nuclear weapons are not to be used. The reason is simple; if one is dropped anywhere in the world the impact can go all around the globe. Within a short time, the world will be no more.

Even the lives of those who fire them may not be protected from the damning consequences! That is how God’s fury is. It is Heaven’s nuclear weapon which was not originally there to be released. Sadly, it will be released in the day of the consummation of all things.

The Bible calls that day the Day of the LORD. It’s says,

The Bible calls that day the Day of the LORD. It’s says,

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up”

It is the fury of God that will burn up the things contained in this Bible prophecy. The fury of God burns in eternity and time. It is timeless! Nothing can quench it when it is kindled on the unrepentant. The Bible says;

“For we must all be manifested before the judgment-seat of the Christ, that each may receive the things [done] in the body, according to those he has done, whether [it be] good or evil. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord we persuade men….” 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 Darby

Many do not know that whatever we are presently doing while living in this body, will determine what God will do to us when we step out of it. The Bible says we will give account to God on the last day. That day is the day that His patience will no longer save anyone from His fury.

It will be the day of GOD’s severity! The day of His terror! Knowing therefore the terror of the lord we persuade men….

A generation that does not have the revelation knowledge of God’s terror will never have the true fear of God in their hearts. If you do not have the true fear of God in your heart, you will be calling sin a mistake and abominations weaknesses. At best you will have a religious fear that does not turn you away from your sin.

I FACT, IT WILL REDEFINE SINS TO YOU. AND PRESENT A MILD DEFINITION OF WHAT IT REALLY IS IN GOD’S SIGHT.

You will come to the delusion that says nothing can separate us from the love of GOD – not even our active sins or wickedness. But the Bible teaches that that our sins can separate us from the love of God. Isaiah Prophesied saying;

“Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear.

For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.” Isaiah 59:1-3 NKJV

Most sexual sins are committed with fingers. It’s terrible that we will give account of even what we did with our fingers, yet many do not know. The fear of GOD is the only way out of God’s fury.

A heart that fears God will depart from evil. A heart that fears God will not call sin weakness or believe in the nothing-can-separate-us-from-the-love-of-God delusion. God will never pour His fury into the lives of those who fear Him. Though He is not partial.
He is just! He has a special love for those who fear Him! The Bible says:

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust.” Psalms 103:12-14 NKJV

Indeed, God has a special love for those who fear Him. As a father pities his Children, so the LORD pities them. He measures their frame and remembers that they are dust. He does not pour His fury on them but Himself.

Yes, show me a man or woman who fears God, and I will show you a man or women (a house) that God will pour Himself into.

Many of us are yet to realize that we were originally created to be God’s house on earth. But lack of fear for Him can keep Him away from us. God is looking for people who will fear Him enough to tremble at His word – a people He can pour Himself into and dwell in.

THAT BRINGS US TO OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT FOR THE DAY. IT SAYS;

The LORD wants us to become part of the generation of those who tremble at God’s word. Yes, He wants us to become part of the generation that does not despise the word but tremble at it. If God can find a people who tremble at His word, He will change their world.

We tremble at His word when we submit to it like Mary did during the miracle of immaculate conception. We tremble at His words when we fall in repentance each time we are rebuked or confronted by it the way David did. If you look at the lives of David and Saul, you will see two generations of people.

Saul represent the generation that does not tremble at God’s word.

This generation will tear the garment of their prophet and that of anyone God may be using to bring a word that corresponds with or confronts the nature of their hearts. But the David generation represents another generation – a generation of those who tremble at the word of the LORD!

The David generation is that generation that seeks after God’s heart. God will give it a kingdom and use it to open Heavenly portals strategically over nations. If you want to count in the Kingdom of God this end time, you must become part of that generation that fears Him enough to tremble at His word!

LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR YOU TODAY!

“But as for you, O man of God, flee from all these things; aim at and pursue righteousness (right standing with God and true goodness), godliness (which is the loving fear of God and being Christlike), faith, love, steadfastness (patience), and gentleness of heart.

Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.

In the presence of God, Who preserves alive all living things, and of Christ Jesus, Who in His testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I [solemnly] charge you. To keep all His precepts unsullied and flawless, irreproachable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Anointed One),

WELCOME TO THE 37TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY

Today is another day that we will be gleaning truths to build our faith for the day. We will begin with the seed time and harvest principles.

God created the seed time and harvest principle, not to make misguided and spiritually blind, or corrupt preachers gain financial fatness but to bring into time what He has finished in eternity concerning us. Church was not originally designed to function as a money-making machine.

Therefore, wherever the principle of seed time and harvest is reduced to a money getting principle, the gate of hell is not too far from it.

The gates of hell are responsible for the mutilation of scriptures. They are responsible for the use of great scriptures on seeds, time and harvest for money spinning. Yes, the principle covers money and all that concerns a believer, but it is not a money getting tool for us – spiritual leaders.

God wants us to prosper financially than anyone on the face of the earth, and the principle of seed, time and Harvest is one of the universal principles you see Him engage in helping us become all He has called us to be and to prosper economically.

I want you to understand the battle of seeds we all face.

For instance, the devil will fight to stop you from knowing and sowing the right seed that will allow eternity to invade your life with God’s finished works. And if eventually you come to the knowledge of it, he will not allow you to come to the knowledge of the right place to sow, hence hindering eternity from invading your life with blessings.

So many Christians operate the seed faith principle in money matters alone. We do not know it governs every other aspect of our lives on earth. Most of us who limit it to money alone have perverted the principle. But the principle is God’s system of creating in our lives things that never existed before.

IT IS HIS SYSTEM FOR TRANSPORTING FINISHED WORKS OF THE CROSS FROM ETERNITY TO TIME.

People who do not understand God’s system for changing their lives will remain with battered lives on earth. God’s system for changing lives on earth is not a topic to be debated upon but a rule to keep. It is not debatable. The reason is simple, while you are still debating about it the person who needs salvation from it could depreciate beyond redemption. God’s systems are to be embraced without reservation.

The seed time and harvest principle is God’s system for changing lives on earth, yet not as money driven preachers are presenting it. God’s plans for our lives are finished. Your marriage is finished, your economic life is finished, and whatever He wants you to become on earth has been done and finished.

What remains is to birth them on earth. That is what the Bible teaches.

Now, whatever God has finished about your life dwell in eternity not time! It dwells beyond the reach of devils, witches, wizards etc. That is why I tell people that no demon can destroy our blessing or destiny because they are not living directly in time. They live in eternity but walk in the realm of time through people yielded to them.

The only thing the devil can pervert or destroy is the system of bringing these finished things down to us on earth. He can destroy the seed that will unlock the blessing or your destiny in a time of ignorance.

Yes, he can make sure we do not do what will bring God’s finished works into manifestation in our lives. That is where the battle lies. The battle lies in Satan keeping us from doing things that will bring God’s finished works in our lives into manifestation, especially if the things are difficult.

He even attempted stopping Jesus from dying on the Cross at one time. He knew something God has finished in eternity will manifest in time if Jesus did that, though he did not know what that thing was. You see the story in Matthew Chapter 16 where he used Peter to try to stop Jesus from dying.

IF HE HAD SUCCEEDED THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO REDEMPTION TODAY.

Are there things Satan is stopping you from doing that are responsible for the way your life is today? Why don’t you ask the LORD to reveal them to you! A wise man once asks the apostles in the book of acts “what must I do to be saved?” In other words, what action seeds must I sow to reap salvation? And they told him what to do and he did it and salvation came.

Satan had stopped him for doing that for years, and he had held back his salvation for years. But one night he caught the revelation and changed his life. You are the next on God’s list!

Satan will attempt to stop you from doing anything that will bring eternity into your life. He will stop you from becoming part of a Church that will destroy his works in your life. He will stop you from reading your Bible faithfully because of what he knows the word will do in your life.

He will stop you from meeting your Elijah or joining his chariot like Elisha did.

He will frustrate you from doing anything that will bring God’s finished works into manifestation in your life and one of the things he does to accomplish all these is the destruction of your seed; especially a seed that will make things happen in your life – a holiness seed, a financial seed, a wisdom seed, a destiny seed and etc.

He will either destroy your seed or blind your mind from knowing the right things to do with it. If it’s a holiness seed, he will blind your mind from sowing it into your life. The idea is to keep you in sin until he devours you. If it’s a financial seed, he will blind you from knowing the right place to sow it.

If any force has destroyed your seed or blinded your eyes from knowing your seed and where to sow it, I declare you free in Jesus’ name! Becoming a faithful Sower of righteous seeds is the only way to be a great reaper of supernatural manifestations!

OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT SAYS, “GOD GIVES SEED TO THE SOWER”.

If you are not a Sower, you cannot be a reaper. Through sowing, we place a demand on eternity to invade our lives with the finished works of cross. What we call harvest is simply what the eternal God invade our lives to do in response to righteous seeds sown.

Righteous seeds are not just money. Even faith is a seed. It is seed you sow to see God move. Prayer is a seed. It is the seed you sow to see God move. If you want to reap eternal life with Jesus, you must sow the relevant seeds, and the eternal God will invade your life with it.

If you want to operate in divine wisdom, you must sow the seed of listening to divine counsel or reading the Bible over time and eternity will invade your life with it. If you want to get married, you must sow the seed of living in the glory realm and eternity will invade your life with a destiny partner not just a life partner.

Now, sometimes God will show you a specific thing He has finished in eternity concerning you and then ask you to do a thing to unlock it. That thing He asks you to do is the seed, while what you unlock is the harvest. Other times He will first ask you to do a thing and after obeying Him He will then bring in the harvest you just unlocked.

That was what happened to Abraham in Genesis 22.

He never knew what worshiping God with his Isaac will result. But he did it anyway and got a generational blessing. There is something we must do on earth for what is settled in Heaven concerning us to be made manifest in our lives. Time to take responsibility for our lives and find what that thing is.

If there is a problem in your life, there is a seed of prayer, fasting, faith, or holiness to sow to unlock the harvest that will deal with the problem. There is always something in God to do to be saved.

Friend, eternity is set to invade time any day we seed the worship that will make that happen. God is set to use us to even raise the dead if we can find out what seed of worship (not singing but living) to sow to walk in such power.

May the LORD always show us the action seed to sow into His word in order to walk in the blessings He may have preplanned for us. Amen!!

WELCOME TO THE 36TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY

Glory to God almighty for giving us another day from the womb of His mercies! What a day to be alive on earth and in Christ Jesus. How would our lives had been if the LORD had not died on the Cross to set us free?

How would our lives have been if the merciful and kind Holy Spirit, had not been poured? The Bible says, “the Spirit of the LORD has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.” There would have been no us if the merciful Holy Spirit had not been poured.

Yes, there would have been no us if He had not been washing us clean, purifying our hearts, guarding our lives, setting us on fire to the LORD, running our church, powering these devotionals and shielding us from the sword of our enemies. It is the dynamic works of Jesus’ death on the Cross and the Holy Spirit’s work in our lives that has been keeping us.

Our devotional today will be on something critical to our walk and talk with God as the redeemed of the LORD. That thing is called GOD’s stamp of divine approval. In the natural realm, critical documents are not considered valid until they are stamped. In the spirit realm things work that way too.

Whatever is from hell must carry the seal of hell for it to be valid and effective, and whatever is from Heaven carries the seal of Heaven on it also. It is from the hidden seals of things we find in the spirit realm that we identify their source. The Bible teaches that, “by their fruits (or seal) we shall know them.”

Our concern today will be things God seals with His stamp of approval to function on earth.

I am yet to see the devil hold something that has God’s approval in it for too long. I am yet to see a pursuit God approves defeated by the devil. I am yet to see a life lived within things God approves going through a successful demonic attack. Yes, the devil may attack it, but God’s grace will always be sufficient.

Paul was one of such people who did not spend a second on things that lack God’s seal of approval.

He suffered more than all other apostles but came out strong in all his trials and troubles. At one time he fought with the beasts of Ephesus. Not small demons but beastly people with deep roots in the spirit realm, but not one of his hairs was lost in the fight. One day the pressure of hell became so much on him, and he sought God to take some away but here was the divine response;

…"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."… 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV

This scripture teaches a lot, but one lesson we can derive from it is in the place where one can find sufficient grace. Sufficient grace is not found everywhere. It is only available where God’s stamp of approval is present. If God’s stamp of approval is not found in your life, it will lack His sufficient grace.

GOD WILL NEVER SUFFICIENTLY GRACE THINGS THAT ARE OUTSIDE HIS WILL, WAYS AND WORD.

He will not grace what lacks His stamp of approval. For instance, if you are in a marriage that lacks God’s stamp of approval, a job, a Church, a business, a trip, a career or etc. you will never experience his grace. God’s sufficient grace will be missing. And if God’s sufficient grace is missing in a thing, Satan’s sufficient trouble will be present in it.

You will fight battles that God will not show up to help you out. You will contact disease that God may never heal and come into troubles that your prayer will never quench. You will just have a fore taste of hell on earth. You will just lack supernatural interventions of God and Significant moves of His Spirit. In simple terms, your life will be like an accursed life on earth.

God’s stamp of approval is a major catalyst of supernatural blessing. If the things you pursue in life lack God’s stamp of divine approval, you will struggle in life no matter how hard you pray, fast, give, attend Church, or serve men of God.

The first-time man walked out of this realm was in Genesis Chapter 3; when the serpent introduced the New Age doctrine to mankind. The devil literally asked mankind through the woman, to declare independence from God and start doing things without His approval. And that was it. The result is what we see today; death, disease, woes, wars, demons on rampage, eternal condemnation, failed relationships, poverty, broken homes, lives beaten down by Satan, etc.

Whenever a thing in your life lacks divine approval, it will never lack successful demonic attacks. Be it a marriage, a business, a ministry, a Church, a decision, a career, or whatever concerns you. Doing things that lack divine approval is one major reason for the earthly woes of mankind. It is the root cause of all spiritual problems in the lives of Christians.

No matter how powerful we are in the Holy Ghost, if we step into anything that lacks God’s stamp of approval we will become as weak as a newborn baby. Our enemies will begin to have us for dinner. The story of Samson comes to mind at this point. He was powerful in the Holy Ghost until he stepped into the life of a women God never approved for his life.

HIS LIFE JUST TURNED RIGHT SIDE DOWN AND WRONG SIDE UP!

The Bible says:

“Then the Philistines took him and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza. They bound him with bronze fetters, and he became a grinder in the prison.” Judges 16:21 NKJV

Sadly, this is the description of the lives of many men and women in the Church today. I am yet to see a powerful child of God who remained powerful after stepping into things that lack God’s stamp of approval. I am yet to see a rising Child of God who did not lose God’s favor upon his life after stepping into things that lack God’s stamp of approval.

It is impossible for your life to remain the same after stepping into things that lack God’s stamp of approval.

Our devotional text said, “God put a stamp of divine approval” on what the early disciples did in Antioch and there was an uncommon breakthrough. God will always release uncommon breakthrough into anything that has His stamp of approval; be it a marriage, a business, a ministry, a career, a family, a spiritual life etc.

It may not come immediately but will come after a short while of going through His approval rating process.

Yes, God has an approval rating process that He pass things like marriage, churches, careers, etc. through to qualify them for His approval. Sometimes it is people He would have to pass through the process before He stamp their lives with His stamp of approval.

Sometimes the process can be difficult. In the days of the Bible Joseph was passed through the process. The Bible says:

“He sent a man before them— Joseph—who was sold as a slave. They hurt his feet with fetters; He was laid in irons.

Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him. The king sent and released him, the ruler of the people let him go free.

He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possessions, To bind his princes at his pleasure, And teach his elders wisdom.” Psalm 105:17-22 NKJV

Test, trials and temptations are God’s approval rating processes. That is why people who go through them successfully becomes great thereafter. Joseph became great in Egypt thereafter, Job became great in the ancient world, you are the next to become great after God has tested, tried and then approved you, sometimes through sufferings. Amen!

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

WHY 'SUCCESSFUL' PREACHERS ARE GOING INTO REAL ESTATE BUSINESS AND OTHER MONEY-MAKING VENTURES.

Few have no original calling at all, hence falling into money making at the height of their success. Some were originally called into believer’s ministry BUT OPERATED UNDER THE TITLES OF the fivefold ministry, hence using all they have 'made' through people's tithes and offerings to acquire loans or partnerships to go into real estate and other businesses (an error in itself).

NO GENUINE APOSTLE OR PROPHET WILL TOUCH BUSINESS.

If you ask these men in error and their deluded members, they will say, Paul was a tent maker.

Well, they did not study Church History well and did not know the facts, hence hiding behind the Paul a tent maker thing. The truth remains; no genuine Apostle or Prophet will touch the money-making plough after putting their hands in the Kingdom Advance plough. Do not be deceived. These men are in error!!

Men and brethren, we are in the end times!! A lot of Apostles and Prophets have entered an Ichabod state, they are having intercourse with Babylon. So be careful of the preacher you sit under. These men will not profit you eternally.

TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 4TH FEBRUARY 2026)

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV

WELCOME TO THE 35TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY

We give glory to God for another day of strategic victories. If it is our year of strategic victory, then each day is a day of strategic victory! Hallelujah!!! God’s word certainly does not fail. No force in Heaven or on earth can make it fail. It has an inbuilt performance power.

In other words, it has the capacity to fulfill itself. That is why you save a lot of energy if you choose to put your life under the control and governing force of God’s word. He declared:

"For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater,

So shall my word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:10-11 NKJV

Let’s talk about the word of the LORD! I mean every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD, the Lamb who sit upon the Throne in eternity, and roars His word into time through the pages of the scriptures as the Lion of the tribe of Judah. The Bible says:
“A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:8 NKJV

When His word leaves the throne room to our hearts, the first thing it does is to water it. It waters our hearts with His presence, the very presence it comes with as it proceed from His mouth. If our hearts are humble and contrite, the moisture of the presence will rest on it and make the word bring forth and bud in our spirits.

When it buds in our spirit, it will produce blessings in our lives, as seed to the sower and bread to the eater. In other words, it will come to pass by accomplishing what God pleases in our lives. Creation itself is sustained by the word of God’s power.

IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT THAT IF WE WANT TO BE SUSTAINED BY GOD’S POWER, WE DON’T TAKE HIS WORD FOR GRANTED!

His word has inherent energy to release into our lives if we do not take it for granted. In fact, the word of the LORD is for our hearts. God designed it to be the secret of amazing strength in the lives of His Kingdom citizens. It has capacity to take you from sickness to health, from fear to faith, and from spiritual blindness to spiritual sight.

It has all it takes to create and re-create, build and plant, defend and distinguish, etc. If you want your world to be better than it is now, go for the word. It holds the foundation of everything. And nothing good happens for too long if it is absent in people’s hearts.

If the word is absent in a marriage, that marriage is gone. If it is absent in an economic life, that life is gone. No matter how rich you are, if GOD’s word is not at the center of it all, you are poor in disguise. Without the word of GOD your world will fall apart. It is that powerful!

If you put a man who is sold out to the word in an Island, and give him sufficient time, he will fill it with things that never existed there before through the power of GOD’s word. It creates things out of nothing. It is our tool for outsourcing Heaven to the earth. If it is not in our hearts and mouths, we will pay dearly for its absence in the day of trouble. There will be nothing flowing out of our spirits to stop the enemy.

The word has what it takes to discern the thoughts and intents of men’s hearts and direct it towards doing God’s blessed will.

THAT IS WHY THE CHURCH IS CALLED TO SPEAK GOD’S LIVING WORD TO THE HEARTS OF MEN THROUGH THE EXECUTION OF THE GREAT COMMISSION.

God wants none to perish, He wants all men to turn to Him and live for His will. That can only be accomplished when the words that God speak discern the thoughts and intents of our hearts. The Bible says,

“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12 AMP

What a beautiful rendering of the Holy Scripture!! Yes, it’s exciting to learn that God’s living word has what it takes to expose, sift, analyze and judge the very thoughts and purposes of a man’s heart. It clearly teaches that the word of the LORD does not just take care of the spiritual, it also takes care of the natural. The Bible says:

“it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature],”

If you want God to work on you, so He can work through you, then go for His word. His words contain the inherent power and revelation that can be of great help to you. If you want to survive the wicked world we live in, do not allow anything to cut you off from the word of the LORD.

Some of the greatest mistakes I made in life happened when I did not consult the word or allow it to guide me. If we allow anything to cut our decisions away from the word, our world will be full of the unwanted. But if the word is allowed to rule our decisions, we will see its beautiful power at work in our lives, and through our lives.

OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT TODAY IS ONE OF THE STATEMENTS TO HAVE EVER PROCEEDED FROM THE MOUTH OF GOD THROUGH HIS HOLY APOSTLE - PAUL.

It is one of those words from God that is worthy to be put in our hearts. From the text, you will understand that one of the major things God wants us to keep filling our days with, in Bible terms is called, “doing well” or doing Holy Spirit inspired good deeds.

In other words, He wants us to spend our days allowing His Holy Spirit to inspire and enable us to put smiles on our fellow human beings. He wants us to spend them yielding to His Spirit to make the world a bit easier for those He allows us to cross paths. It is one of the things God does not want us to grow weary of doing.

The Bible is full of things GOD wants us to grow weary in doing and things He does not want us to grow weary in doing. He wants us to grow weary doing evil and not grow weary doing good!

Everything that fills a man’s life with an absence of God’s manifest presence and sends the Holy Spirit far from him is one of those things that Heaven wants us to grow weary doing. In fact, God wants us to grow weary doing things that leaves our lives vulnerable to the evil one.

He wants us to be useful in the lives of others according to His plans for our lives. Sadly, many do not know that being useful to people around us is very important in life.

You will fill your life with darkness if you are not useful to people GOD placed in your life. God wants us to be assets and not liabilities. He wants us to be valuable to others, not a pain in their neck.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN POVERTY AND PROSPERITY LIES IN A HOW VALUABLE A MAN IS TO STRATEGIC MEN AND GOD.

If your life is adding value to God’s plans and purposes and those around you, your prosperity will not be a matter of if but a matter of when. Our devotional scripture today says, “you will reap if you faint not.”

However, you will not reap good if you are adding value to the wrong people. In fact, adding value to the wrong people will make you reap sorrow.

As you begin a fresh day today, decide to be useful to God and to the right people. I have decided too. I have decided not to allow the wrong people to make me faint or lose heart, because if you add value to the wrong people they will return terrible things back to you, making you hate the principle of adding value to others.

Make up your mind to add value, spiritually or naturally, to the life of everyone in your space: from your spouse to your kids, to your pastor, to your Church, to your nation, to your neighbors, to those you know and those you may not know. Let no one who touch you go back the same. Let something positive be left in their lives.

Maybe a word of counsel, a healing virtue from the LORD, one form of hospitality or the other, etc.

Leave a deposit of value in the lives that will cross your path this week. It could be a smile, a word of kindness or encouragement. It could be an appreciation. It could be a moment of prayer or preaching.

Declare the rest of your life a season of adding value to all the right people around you, and you will experience a great leap in life.

Start doing something that will make someone have a reason to live. Do what Job did in his days. He lived a life that added value to all. Hence God did not allow his trial to consume him. Heaven gave him double for his trouble.

I believe the message of today has been passed to us all. You will not fail in Jesus precious name. Amen!!
