THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (TUESDAY 12TH May 2026)
“I was also blameless before Him, and I kept myself from my iniquity. Therefore the Lord has recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in His sight.
With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful; with a blameless man You will show Yourself blameless;
With the pure You will show Yourself pure; and with the devious You will show Yourself shrewd. For You will save the humble people, but will bring down haughty looks.” Psalms 18:23-27 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 132ND DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
Our lives are expressions of the power of God’s love and mercy. They are responsible for our deliverance, our breakthroughs, our miracles, the divine visitations we see, and the outpourings of His Holy Spirit in our lives.
God’s Mercy is responsible for our sleeping and waking up each morning because many of us do not even deserve to wake up because of our level of wickedness. That is why Heaven roars each time we do not show mercy to our fellow humans having being beneficiaries of God’s mercy ourselves.
If God’s Mercy says “no” to any judgment that we deserve before God and we do not say “yes” to those who ask for our mercy by cancelling any punishment they deserve, even our going to Heaven as Christians will be at risk.
Many of us do not know that after accepting Jesus Christ as LORD and savior and remaining in Him, the next qualification for making Heaven is showing mercy to others. The word says,
"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV
No one whose sins have not been forgiven can enter Heaven. This scripture teaches me that if I have given my life to Christ and living His way and will, it’s a sign that my sins are forgiven. The next work to do is to keep them forgiven by forgiving others for their trespasses. It takes men whose sins have been forgiven to make Heaven.
What are we sharing this morning? After repentance the next harvest God expects from us (after sowing a seed of mercy into our lives) is walking in love - showing mercy to others and forgiving them their trespasses against us.
UNDERSTAND THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRUE CHRISTIANITY AND HUMAN RELIGION IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD’S MERCY.
A Muslim friend once told me that there is no mercy in his religion. He said there is no forgiveness there and that is why he was deciding for Jesus. He said in his religion they believe in “an eye for an eye” and “a tooth for a tooth.” And no matter how long it takes, or how deep an offender may have repented for his sins, judgment will still be executed.
He said repentance and pleas for mercy does not change laws among them!
Sadly, even what we call Christianity has become like that in many quarters! But it got me thinking. Then I began to understand why one Muslim leader in Nigeria who was maltreated and imprison in a coup many years ago as a military leader will return back to power after those years to revenge his imprisonment in a guise of fighting corruption.
Currently is unjustly holding the very person who got him arrested those years even when the courts demanded for the person’s release! Friend, if he was a Child of Jesus Christ, he would never have remembered the past. What gives great beauty to the Christian faith and separates it from mad made religion is forgiveness of sins and release of divine mercy to sinners.
So, if a so-called believer do not show mercy to those who may have hurt him and repented (or not), he takes away this shine from the Christian faith.
I also remember what a worshiper of a false god whose name I do not want to mention said. He said, “there is no mercy or forgiveness in our worship.” That once one offends the gods, he goes for it. You can even see that in our African Movies. The gods do not forgive because Satan has no capacity for mercy. Another woman that was a high-class sorceress said the same thing.
SHE SAID ONCE YOU OFFEND IN THE KINGDOM OF SATAN, THERE IS NO MERCY BUT JUDGMENT OR PUNISHMENT.
The kingdom of God stands out because God is love! That is the only place you find unconditional love, great mercies and pardon for sins.
Only in true Christianity you find love, mercy and forgiveness! That is why Heaven will be full of ex-sinners who were forgiven; ex-harlots, ex-adulterers, ex-extortionist, ex-liars, ex-murderers, ex-fornicators, ex-drug barons, ex-homosexuals, ex-lesbians, ex-terrorists like Saul who later became Paul, ex-witches and wizards. Hallelujah!
It will be full of sinners turned saints by the power of the blood of Jesus (a sacrifice of God’s mercy). That is why we must be merciful to all regardless. There is an eternal reward in doing so. However, in showing mercy, you must be guided by grace and truth and be careful not to allow it to become a breeding ground for wickedness.
Those who frustrate God’s mercy (people who use it as a breeding ground for wickedness) are usually punished in the kingdom of God. Only those who make a proper use of it are usually blessed.
So, if your acts of love and mercy become a breeding ground for wickedness to grow and thrive, you will be in trouble yourself because you will be overstepping the bounds GOD has set. I have seen Christians destroying themselves by overstepping the bounds God has set in the release of Mercy. That is when they become more merciful than GOD Himself. That is dangerous!
For instance, in 1 Kings 13, the young prophet from Judah got himself killed because of that. If he had not shown mercy to the king God judged and exposed his spiritual safety codes in the process, he would not have been killed by a lion. When it comes to showing mercy, God Himself is the standard - the very standard we must follow. Ecclesiastes warned that we should not be over righteous because we will destroy ourselves.
DAVID KNEW THAT VERY WELL. THAT WAS WHY HE STATED WHAT WE FOUND IN OUR DEVOTIONAL TEXT THIS MORNING.
A major highlight of the text says,
“With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; with a blameless man you will show yourself blameless; with the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the devious you will show yourself shrewd. For you will save the humble people, but will bring down haughty looks.” Psalm 18:25-27
We can glean truths on how to show mercy to others from this scripture. You find four kinds of hearts in the scripture.
1. The Merciful Heart
2. The blameless Heart
3. The Pure Heart
4. The Devious Heart.
Yes, hearts not heads. God weighs the heart not the head. He weighs a man’s heart before seeding great mercies into his life. That is what we must do if we will not be over righteous as the scriptures warned. Don’t forget, He is our standard for showing mercy. But to do that successfully we must lean on His Holy Spirit and submit to His Holy Word – the Bible.
For instance, a man’s “head” could be wrong forcing him to react to the pressure and perils of life in a very bad and sinful way, but his “heart” right - merciful, blameless, or pure. I have seen good people doing very bad things. You know this person’s heart is right, it’s just his head that is wrong. He is good at heart but foolish in his way!
God will show mercy to this kind of a person because He knows the person will not use it to groom wickedness. He will rather use it to repent form his sins and live according to the nature of his heart – merciful, blameless or pure.
But the same cannot be said to the fourth kind of heart on the table – a devious heart. The Bible says to the devious God will show Himself shrewd. Not merciful, blameless or pure, but shrewd. And that can be dangerous you know! He knows if He shows Himself merciful to them, they will use it as a breeding ground for wickedness.
I believe the message of today’s devotional has been passed. May God use these words to give you an inheritance among they that are sanctified! AMEN!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY
“For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, by my God I can leap over a wall.
As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Psalms 18:28-30 NKJV

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (MONDAY 11TH May 2026)
“And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:13-15 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 131ST DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
With all the Holy Ghost fuses that blew on us in yesterday’s service, we entered a fresh day of a beautiful week the LORD have made with faith, hope and zeal. We believe the daily benefits of each day of the week was given to us, especially how to live and have them beautifying our lives.
The high point of the service was the Holy Ghost truths rained on us on how to live our earthly lives at Christ’s expense. To God be the glory for such outpouring of the Spirit.
In fact, when we read what the Bible says in the Book of Joel 2:28, what the words impresses on our minds by default is the outpouring of God’s power. But when Jesus said in John 16:13-17 that the Spirit that would be poured out is the Spirit of Truth that the world cannot receive, it gave us a fresh understanding on what to expect.
There are times the outpouring comes as an outbreak of God’s power, and there are times it comes as an outpouring of God’s Truth, oozing strongly from the pages of the scripture and hitting us strongly to ignite our faith and fire. In the Cry of the Spirit, we experience both in our services. I mean, every week. Yesterday was one of the days that both manifestations came together.
They were beautiful and eternal in impact.
Today we will be building on one of the bombs of the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Ghost, that blew away paradigms of ignorance; it flew from the pages of the scriptures and set our hearts on fire. The bomb exploded from the Scripture of our devotional text. It says:
“Having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.”
THE LINE WE WANT TO LOOK AT SAYS, ...AND HE HAS TAKEN IT OUT OF THE WAY, HAVING NAILED IT TO THE CROSS. HALLELUJAH!!
The question that pub up in my spirit when I read that says, “if He has nailed it on the cross, what is it doing in your life, our thoughts, your paradigm, your body, your soul and even your spirit.?” If the balanced answers are not given to questions like this, we will slip from God’s version of grace to man’s version, called extravagant grace.
Extravagant grace is a false grace. It is a grace that does not confront us with sin, does not transform us from the practice of sin to a life of practical righteousness, it just preaches positional righteousness and sees no need for practical righteousness. That kind of grace presents salvation by faith without a life of sanctification and purity.
That is a false grace because the Bible says, “without Holiness no eye shall see the LORD.” It also says, “blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.” Warning the early church about this extravagant grace that has drowned the salvation of many today, the book of James said:
“What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.]
“You believe that God is one; you do well [to believe that]. The demons also believe [that], and shudder and bristle [in awe-filled terror—they have seen His wrath]! But are you willing to recognize, you foolish [spiritually shallow] person, that faith without [good] works is useless?
Was our father Abraham not [shown to be] justified by works [of obedience which expressed his faith] when he offered Isaac his son on the altar [as a sacrifice to God]?
You see that [his] faith was working together with his works, and as a result of the works, his faith was completed [reaching its maturity when he expressed his faith through obedience] James 2:14, 19-22 AMP
THIS SCRIPTURE MADE ME LAUGH. APOSTLE JAMES CALLED PEOPLE FOOLISH AND YET NONE GOT UPSET. NONE SLANDERED HIM.
It is indeed apostolic to find the Spirit of God using your lips to call people foolish for being foolish. He said to them, “But are you willing to recognize, you foolish [spiritually shallow] person, that faith without [good] works is useless?” Look at the words he used in describing the person under the false grace. Those words were strongly apostolic.
Many have thanked me for calling them foolish because it sparked a fire in them, today they are fully aligned with the ways of the LORD.
The word transformed them because they were not my words, but the words of the Spirit of Truth, tearing down paradigms and provoking repentance. I do not call people foolish when in conversation with them. So, understand that people who think salvation without sanctification, purity and holiness will take them to Heaven are indeed foolish.
They are part of the five foolish virgins that will not make it on the final day.
This breed of Christians, who are under what they describe as extravagant grace, call what will take them to hell a weakness. The American Christians calls it a struggle. They have coined all kinds of names to keep believers comfortable with calling Jesus “LORD, LORD” but not doing what His word says on sexual purity, financial integrity, true worship, self-control and the likes.
James 2:14,19-22, clearly points out what grace in God’s version does. It saves us from the penalty and the practices of sin, iniquity or trespass. It give us faith to make Heaven. The faith is not a faith or trust in God that has no fruits attached but the type with fruits, the fruits of good works or the practice of righteousness. Indeed, the Bible says,
“For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;
not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].” Ephesians 2:8-9 AMP
FROM THIS SCRIPTURE, ITS IS CLEAR THAT OUR WORK DOES NOT SAVE US. OUR WORK AFTER SALVATION ONLY CONFIRMS THAT WE ARE SAVED.
It confirms that we have been delivered from eternal judgment and given eternal life through faith; a faith with good works as fruits, making the good works proof of our salvation not the reason for our salvation. Meaning, if we draw back comfortably to a life of sin, it is a sign that we have lost what we got.
Positional righteousness is proven by practical righteousness.
Practical righteousness will be rewarded in heaven, but it does not save. It is the only proof to Heaven that one has received the free gift of positional righteousness from the LORD through faith in Him.
It is the reason for our salvation. If you then say, we do not need to repent of sin, Jesus has died already, He has taken away our punishment and Judgment, so we are fine even if we become adulterers, fornicators, liars, cheats, extortioners, and the likes after salvation, we are still saved. That is a lie.
Yes, Jesus has taken our adultery and its consequences, our fornication and its consequences, our lying and its consequences, our every sin, iniquity or trespass with their penalties and nailed on His cross. Now, if we believe they are already on the cross, what are they doing in our lives?
If we say we believe Jesus has nailed them on His cross for us and delivered us from them, then what has been nailed on the cross should not be in our lives, the practice of the sin that has been nailed on the cross and still calling yourself saved, is delusional.
The Bible teaches that the grace we believe in must be able to save us from the penalty and practice of sin. Nothing less! The grace must have the fruits of good works in it. If a so-called grace of God, only saves from the penalty but not the practice of sin, that grace is man’s version of grace, not God’s version.
God sent this word to ask us, “If you believe that I have nailed your sins and their penalty on the cross, your faith should give you the power to commit that sin no more. The practice of that sin should no longer be in your life.” So, will to lead a pure and holy life. Will to stay away from sin as much as the LORD gives you the grace. If you fall, confess to the right ears and return to righteousness.
The message remains, if Jesus has nailed it on the cross, what is the sin doing in your life, your thoughts, your paradigm, your body, your soul or even your spirit? Give up what He has nailed on the cross through genuine repentance. Amen
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!!
“So repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, regret past sins] and return [to God—seek His purpose for your life], so that your sins may be wiped away [blotted out, completely erased], so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord [restoring you like a cool wind on a hot day];” Acts 3:19 AMP

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (SUNDAY 10TH May 2026)
Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near, Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears; Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'"
Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around. Cause your mighty ones to go down there, O Lord. Joel 3:9-11 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 130TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
God be glorified for giving us another day; another day to gather for corporate worship, receive the rod of our strength and rule in the midst of our enemies. Yes, rule in the midst of our enemies.
There are three to four kinds of enemies God gives us the rod of strength to rule in their midst. However, before we share about them, it is important to glorify God the more because we are the only faith on earth whose fellowship is on the first day of the week, a blessing, because the best way to start anything is in God’s manifest presence.
No other human starts their week in God’s presence. Only Christians are blessed by God to start their weeks in His manifest presence. If you know the power of God’s manifest presence, you will realize that it is something you should not trade for anything and stay at home on a day like this, instead of joining your spiritual family in fellowship.
The Bible says:
“Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, At the presence of the God of Jacob, Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of waters.” Psalm 16:7-8 NKJV
When we gather in fellowship, it is the presence of the LORD we came for. Unto Him shall the gathering of His people be. It is not the pastors we came for. It is not fellow brethren we came for. No other thing should bring us together. Experiencing the presence of the LORD is what should bring us together. It is the catalyst of love and unity among brethren, prosperity of the righteous, and peace in our lives.
This is where staying away is not a good thing, or making the gathering a money collection meeting, or a place for carnal or social connections, or any other earthly purposes is a good thing. In fact, if we gather for any of these or any other thing, if our hearts are not right, it will become a stumbling block for us and hinder us from experiencing the presence of the LORD.
SO, DO NOT ALLOW A DAY LIKE THIS TO PASS BY WITHOUT JOINING YOUR SPIRITUAL FAMILY TO EXPERIENCE THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.
That might be all you need to escape death, diseases, pain, lack, poverty or anything the devil may have planned for you this week. Yes, if none has told you, am here to tell you that we escape a lot that may have been planned against us by the enemy whenever we gather in worship on a day like this. The Bible says:
“The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.” Psalm 37:12-13 NKJV
If you do not believe that Satan has plots against us, set to happen to us at appointed weekdays, then you do not understand the earth we live in. Our devotional text says, “prepare for war.” Our earth is a war zone, a spirit war zone. That is why you see killings and all that. In this war, there are plots against us, the redeemed of the LORD.
The Bible says the wicked plots against the righteous.
There are plots against each one of us, appointed to happen to us during weekdays, or even weekends. We do not need a prophet to tell us that, the Bible has already said so. But the Bible also says, God sees. Yes, Jehovah Sees, and Jehovah knows. However, how does He arrange for our escape? Let’s look at this scripture. It says:
“Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah. Our God is the God of salvation; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death.” Psalm 68:19-20 NKJV
This scripture teaches that God daily loads us with benefits. These are the benefits that are responsible for our escapes from death and destruction planned to happen to us on any appointed day of the week. But sometimes we collect the benefits for all the days when we fellowship with our spiritual family on Sunday, those hours we spend are never a waste.
So, by revelation and by experience, I know one way God helps us to defeat the plots of Satan is by giving us a Church family to plant ourselves in and join in weekly fellowship, where the daily benefits for each week are collected by pure hearts, sound doctrine, the faith of the Son of God, and righteous motives.
FRIEND, THERE IS ESCAPE FROM WICKEDNESS EACH TIME WE GATHER AND SPEND THOSE HOURS IN GOD’S MANIFEST PRESENCE.
Let me share this. In 1997, I use to have a group of people who gather every Sunday for me to minister to them. The meetings were usually full of power like our meetings now in Nairobi, Kenya. There was this day that two of the attendees, who were blood sisters, were to travel home that week. But they did not know that death had been planned for them.
Their death would have devasted their entire family, because it was not long that they lost their mum. There seems to be deaths in their family. So, the Sunday to what would have been their last week on earth, they were in that service. Then during the session, the Spirit of the LORD came upon me and opened my mind to what was coming, right there it was arrested.
I called the two of them out and prayed. They did travel after that. On their way home, they had a terrible accident in which over 20 people died. These two sisters came out with their lives and bodies intact. The benefit they got from the LORD in that service protected them from what would have been a premature death. To this day, they are still alive.
If they had not attended that service, that would have been their last week on earth. God can use one Sunday service to deliver you from any plot of the enemy that may have been planned to happen to you during the week. That is why you must always appear before God in Zion with others. The Bible says:
“They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion.” Psalm 84:7 NKJV
Yes, you can experience the presence of the LORD at home, but the one you experience when you join your spiritual family in fellowship is bigger than the one you experience when you are alone in prayer. The escapes from wickedness we experience in Church are always bigger than the ones we might experience when alone in prayer.
THE ROD OF OUR STRENGTH IS SENT FROM ZION NOT FROM OUR HOMES. IT IS WHAT WE CARRY FROM ZION THAT HELPS US AT HOME.
That is why even if you are millions of miles away and you join digitally; you will still experience a bigger presence than the one you experience when alone in prayer. The presence of God is the place of trembling because it is the place of power, power that does the impossible. That is why it is the place to start a week from.
As we can see, one of the Bible words for the spiritual atmosphere that is formed when we gather in fellowship is called Mount Zion, or simply Zion. But that atmosphere will never be formed because people gather. That is why most Church services do not have a Mount Zion atmosphere. They have the Throne of Satan.
You should not be coerced to go to where the Throne of Satan forms. Go where Mount Zion or Zion forms.
To have a mount Zion atmosphere, people must gather with hearts that are pure, motives that are purified, methods that are Heaven born, men that are hungry for God, a messenger who stands before God before standing before us, and a message that is truly from God, the doctrine of Christ.
Finally, historically, mount Zion is a mountain in Isreal. That is the place Jesus will step His feet on when He comes back again. The Bible says it shall be torn in two when He does that. Prophecies says that is where He will stand to eliminate the Islamic Mahdi, the person the Bible describes as the anti-Christ, then proceeds from there to refurbish the entire earth and establish His thousand-year Millennian reign.
What a glorious day it will be!! Eternity will invade time in ways it had never happened before that day, then time will be made to merge with eternity for 1000 years. That also tells us what happens when we gather in a Zion or mount Zion atmosphere. Jesus descends upon us in ways he would not do when we are somewhere else.
He descends, not just to help us escape wickedness, but also to Prepare some for war! To Wake up the mighty men, to let all His men of war draw near, to Let them come up. To show them how to Beat their plowshares into swords and pruning hooks into spears; To propel the weak to say, 'I am strong.'" So that we can be released to the valley of decision to rescue the lost souls who are trapped there!! Hallelujah!!
May He descend upon you in church today in Jesus precious name. Amen!!
LET THIS SCRIPTURE BE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR US TODAY!!
“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory;
No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:10-11 NKJV

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (SATURDAY 9TH May 2026)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:1-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 129TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
This is the day the LORD has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. We have seen His goodness, His mercies and compassion, and we are glad.
A life without its LORD over its affairs will be greatly controlled by its other tendencies. It will also be controlled by its enemies and influenced by its environment. It will be like a ship that is tossed by the waves of the sea, here and there, and will never arrive at its ideal destination.
That is why the LORD of our lives must be in control, firm control, of our lives, else our arrival at God’s pre planned blessings, purposes and programs for our lives will be impossible or greatly altered. It is the absence of His control that allows other factors to control and eventually ruin the lives of many.
The Bible says:
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you.” Psalm 32:8-9 NKJV
These words are from the ONE that should be the ideal LORD of our lives, the one that should be in firm control of our lives. He wants us to not just come near Him but live in Him. He said His plan is to instruct us and teach us in ways we should go, because there are so many ways that we should not go.
MOST OF THOSE FORBIDDEN WAYS LOOK PROMISING AND ATTRACTIVE, BUT THEY ARE WAYS WE SHOULD NEVER GO.
Many have gone those ways and are in hell now. Others have gone those ways, and all are sick now in the hospitals and cannot be cured. They are just waiting for their death. Some others have gone those ways and have become poor now. They have lost everything and need great help.
Others have gone those ways and are now struggling with addictions, perversions, and intense demonic oppressions. Some others have gone those ways and have lost their marriages; they have also lost the joy and the will to even live to see the next day. Life has just become a misery to them.
These forbidden ways we should not go do not look forbidden when they appear. They look pleasant and promising. They are usually appealing to our flesh, cravings, and desire for pleasure. That is why they are dangerous. They are sometimes never known to us. They are only known to the One that should be the ideal LORD of our lives.
They are not known to us because our minds are finite, weak, and human.
Our minds are very limited and cannot see into the invisible world that controls most of humanity. They cannot also see the final outcomes of some of our decisions and actions. So, until the One that should be the ideal owner of our lives speaks to us, we will never know the way we should not go.
Until He instructs, teach and guide us with His eyes, we will always follow ways we should not go, and regret ever following. But sadly, His controls are absent in so many lives, including the lives of some of us who call upon His name.
He is not the one teaching, guiding or instructing us in the way we should go. Our desires are the ones. For some, other influences are the one. Many of us have become like the mule or donkey that lacks understanding, carrying so many burdens of life with few hearts tuned to the ideal LORD to guide them with His eyes, teach or instruct them.
GOD’S PLANS IS TO PUT THE IDEAL LORD OF OUR LIVES IN FULL CONTROL SO THAT HIS WILL CAN BE DONE IN IT AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
His plan is that the ideal LORD of our lives, instructs us and show us ways we should go. His plan is for us to be guided through life so that we would not be submerged by the floods of the evil one, the winds from the pits of hell, and the rains of destruction from the kingdom of darkness.
It is when a life has the firm control of its Ideal LORD that no evil will successfully befall it. It is when a life is in firm control of its ideal LORD, guiding it with His eyes, instructing it by His mouth, and teaching it by His Holy Spirit, that no evil floods, winds or rain can destroy it. The Bible says:
“Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:24-25 NKJV
These are the words of the One that should be the ideal LORD of our lives. This is His description of how a life He is in firm control over will fare in a wicked world. The rain, floods or winds from the evil one will not be able to destroy it because it is in His firm control.
This scripture contains how we can put our lives in His firm control; it says we do that by doing what He says.
There is a lot He has already said in the Holy Scriptures, through the lives of the nation of Isreal, the lips and lives of Bible Characters, the lips and lives of His prophets, the lips and lives of those who put their lives in His firm control in Bible days, and the lips and lives of those who constitutes the New Testament books.
Evil is befalling many today because the control of the One that should be the ideal owner of our lives is completely absent; it is absent in the lives of most of humanity. It is absent because many do not really know who the ideal LORD of their lives should be. There is a lot of confusion about that, all from the pits of hell and the souls of the depraved and influential.
SOME OF US, ESPECIALLY IN CHURCH, SEEMS TO KNOW BY OUR LIPS, BUT BY OUR LIVES WE DO NOT REALLY KNOW.
While all outside the Church do not even know and are not willing to accept who the ideal LORD of their lives should be, some of us in church have chosen us to be the ideal LORD of our lives. We have chosen our flesh, appetites, desires, cravings, and feelings to be our lords, leading us to destinations God never preplanned for us.
The one that should be the ideal LORD of our lives is Jesus Christ. He is the LORD that should be our Shepherd. If He is our Shepherd, the Bible says, we shall not want. Our devotional text says:
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 23:1-4 NKJV
As we bring this to a close, I want to admonish that we all allow the LORD to be our Shepherd every day.
If we allow Him to be our Shepherd; to teach, guide, and instruct us, especially through the lives and lips of the nation of Isreal of Bible days, the lives and lips of Bible Characters, the lives and lips of His Bible prophets, the lives and lips of those who put their lives in His firm control in Bible days, and the lives and lips of those who constitutes the New Testament books, we will be fine.
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!!
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalm 23:5-6 NKJV

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (FRIDAY 8TH May 2026)
I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’ Luke 15:18-19 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 128TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
We give God the glory for strategic peace, progress, and advance of His will in our lives, especially through these devotionals. That is the vision of strategic victory. It is not to feed us with our heart’s desires, but to fill us with God’s heart desires and create an environment where we can fulfill them.
Yes, when God decides to fight your battle, its because you are in His program, not really because you gave sacrificially, fasted, or prayed. In the days of the Bible, there was no nation or people whose battles were taken over by the LORD, except the nation of Israel. The reason was obvious; they alone were in God’s program.
They were in the program of bringing forth the messiah for the redemption of humanity. The program was also, among other things, for them to bring forth the Oracles of God to us the gentiles. That was why God personally took up their enemies and fought their battles. At one time He said to them:
“Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.
Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him. But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.” Exodus 23:20-22 NKJV
In other words, God said to them, “I will personally take on your enemies.” God will personally take on our enemies if we are in His program. The reason He ask us to obey Him is to put or keep us in His program. Disobedience takes a man out of God’s program, but obedience and being sold out to God, either brings or keeps a man in God’s program.
SO, HISTORICALLY, THERE HAD BEEN NO NATION UNDER HEAVEN THAT SAW GOD PERSONALLY TAKE OVER THEIR ENEMIES LIKE ISREAL.
He demanded that they obey His Angel (Pre-Incarnate Christ) so that they can remain in His program. Being in God’s program will make the armies of Heaven your army and give you strategic victories in life. God was an enemy to their enemies, and an adversary to their adversaries because they were in His program.
You do not see such acts of God because you are prayerful. You only see them when you are in His program.
You could be prayerful but not in the program of God at an immediate present. That is why you find some prayerful people not progressing in life despite their prayer life. God gives strategic victories to people in His program not people in prayer. If our prayers will yield strategic victories, we must be in His program.
He does all things for His pleasure, meaning to prosper His program. If we want to see good progress, success, or prosperity by His outstretch arm, we must be in His program not in our carnal pleasures and man-made ambitions and desires. If we want to see protection, we must be in His program.
One major reason why Paul survived the dangerous snake that bit him in Acts 28, was not because he was prayerful, but because he was in God’s program. One reason why He survived the shipwreck, was not just because he fasted for 14 days, but because he did that while in God’s program. The enemy will not be able to destroy you if you are in God’s program.
Your prayers, fasting, and all you do with God or in God, must be done in His program for results to be seen. We enjoy the best of Heaven only if we are in Heaven’s program.
That is why the enemy will prefer us in our carnal plans and pleasures, especially the ones giving us money, fame, or attention, than in God’s program that is not yielding such things yet. He will prefer us in our man-made ambitions because we will lack an automatic flow of God there; and he can do anything to us if we lack the automatic flow of God.
STRIFE TO LIVE YOUR DAYS IN GOD’S PROGRAM IF YOU WANT TO SEE STRATEGIC VICTORY IN LIFE.
Understand that strategic victory is not a birthright. If you do not see it in life, especially despite your services to God, do not get angry. Check where you are in life, check if you are living your days in God’s program. Strategic victory is for people who are in God’s program. They may not be perfect like the Israelites were not, but they will always see God coming through for them each time they need victory.
You see all that in Bible history. Men like Moses, Joshua, the Judges, the Prophets and other key Kings in the Bible like David, were raised to give Isreal victory, because they were in God’s program. Again, they were the only nation in God’s program that was why they were able to destroy the large armies that came against them.
There was a time God used just 300 of them to destroy thousands of enemy soldiers. Indeed, He personally took up their enemies. God wants us in His programs, ways, and will; He wants us there every second, minute, day, week, month and year so that He can be glorified the way He was in Bible days.
He wants us working in places that falls in His program for our lives, living with people that fall into His program, living live styles that aligns with His program, saying things that aligns with His program, thinking thoughts that aligns with His programs, and doing things daily that aligns with His program for our lives.
That is the only way our lives will be filled with His wonders. Our devotional text was words spoken by someone who was in the program of his father but was enticed out of it by his desires. Few months later, he began to go through the consequences of living a life outside the program of your father.
THAT PERSON WAS A YOUNG MAN KNOWN THEOLOGICALLY AS THE PRODIGAL SON. HE REMAINS AN ETERNAL LESSON TO MEN OF ALL AGES.
The Bible says things were very fine with him when he was in the program or house of his father. But when he left, the good he got while he was in his father’s program disappeared. He lost all the wealth!! Then things became so bad that all his ideal and useful relationships were shut down, and he started working for pigs and struggling to eat what they eat. The Bible says:
“But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.” Luke 15:14-16 NKJV
The stomach represents the spirit of man. He was filling his spirit and soul with what the swine ate. Swine or Pigs in the Bible represents people who choose a life of sin despite the mercies of the LORD. Whenever you walk out of the programs of God, such people will become your companions, you will begin to eat their food, then later live their life.
Their food are things, habits, words, thoughts, and anything that gives one pleasure but corrupts the soul. Their food today can be found in the information space. When you absorb them, you become a swine yourself despite your Christianity. In other words, you corrupt your soul, then compromise will set in.
You will begin to compromise the values of righteousness you once upheld, using twisted scriptures and exaggeration of God’s grace and mercies to keep yourself on the path.
You will not know your journey out of God’s program has been completed and Satan will soon eat you like snacks. But the prodigal son was wiser. He decided to return to God’s program, he decided for the Father’s house. Our devotional text says:
I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.” ’ Luke 15:18-19 NKJV
Today you must arise and return to God’s program; you must arise and return to God’s way of life, God’s will for your life, God’s holiness, purity, that righteous dedication and commitment you once had for Him. We must all return to the father’s house today and never yield to our flesh any longer and walk away.
If you are living in sin, arise and return to your Heavenly Father.
If you are living a life of lies and deceit, maybe for financial gains, arise and return to your father, return to a life of truth, integrity and righteousness. If you have taken in someone into your life who is not your wife or husband, arise and send them away from your life. Return to your Father, return to the righteous ways of life you once lived; return to God’s program. That is the word of the LORD!!!
There is no way life outside the Heavenly Father’s program for it will be happy. That is one of the lessons we can draw from the prodigal son. The worst way to live a Christian life is outside the program of God, and the best way to live it, is within the program of God. Amen!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!!
“Come, and let us return to the Lord; For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight.
Let us know, let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth. Hosea 6:1-3 NKJV

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (THURSDAY 7TH May 2026)
Dear friends, even though we say these things, we are still convinced that better things are in store for you and that they will save you.
God is fair. He won’t forget what you’ve done or the love you’ve shown for him. You helped his holy people, and you continue to help them.
We want each of you to prove that you’re working hard so that you will remain confident until the end. Then, instead of being lazy, you will imitate those who are receiving the promises through faith and patience. Hebrews 6:9-12 GWT
WELCOME TO THE 127TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
The LORD began this month with us by speaking to us about having His miracle working power running our lives this month, more than ever. For the past few days, we have discussed what seems away from that devotional goal for the month, but they are not away.
The other day we looked at how to deal with the suffering that will not go away, and yesterday we shared on dealing with the sin that will not go away. Whatever you want out of your life that will not go away requires something from outside this world for it to go away.
Man was not really created to live by something withing His world. Yes, there are times when we survive by things withing our world. But the ultimate way to survive this world is to live by something from another world. For us children of God, it is something from the world of God, the Throne Room of God.
Suffering that will not go away requires the opening of a heavenly portal over us, something that is not of this world. While the sin that will not go away requires that we uproot the thoughts that pushed us into that sin and is keeping us there. Such thoughts or information are usually from this sinful and ungodly age.
Sometimes they are from the underworld because whatever is from the underworld take us under in our relationship with God.
Meaning, whenever something from this age or the underworld enter our souls, we begin to go down, do unholy things, and engage in unrighteousness. But whenever something from the world of God enters our lives, we begin to go up in holiness, purity, uprightness or righteousness.
WE CANNOT BE FREE FROM THE SIN THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY UNTIL SOMETHING OUTSIDE THIS WORLD ENTERS US.
Our lives were originally designed to live by things outside this world, not things from this age or the underworld. It is when something from this age or the underworld enter our souls over time that we get trapped in sins that will not go away. We saw the importance of controlling what enters our souls from this sinful age and guarding our hearts with all diligence against it.
Both spiritual life circumstances needs God’s power for them to be changed. Sufferings that will not go away will go away once God’s power begin to flow into the person’s life through the portal that open within the person, and the sin that will not go away will go once God’s power begin to flow.
It will flow once the thoughts that were formed by what entered the soul either from the underworld or this ungodly age are removed. Once the unholy thoughts are removed and a set of righteous and holy thoughts are planted, especially through seasons of giving ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the word, power to live a holy and righteous life will be restored.
Yes, the Grace to lay down that sin that easily ensnare or distracts us will be released. The Bible says:
“Since we are surrounded by so many examples ⌞of faith⌟, we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.” Hebrews 12:1 GWT
The last line is very crucial. It says we must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up. The power to do so is in God. The grace is usually given when we bend the prayer knee and ask for it, giving ourselves to the word of the LORD and prayer fuel by abstinence of fasting.
Yesterday I received a message from someone who fell into sexual sin and has decided to give up and return to the synagogues of Satan he once worshiped in. I encouraged him to keep running the race. I fell too in my beginning days, and sometimes I still do things I should not do as I strife for my Heavenly rest with Christ. I shared all that yesterday.
THE BEAUTY IS IN STANDING STRONG, AND NOT GIVING UP IF YOU FALL. THE BEAUTY IS NOT NECESSRILY IN NOT FALLING AT ALL!!
Every sinner can become a saint, and every saint was once a sinner, so you do not give up because you fell into sin, no matter how grievous or small it may be. Giving up is not an option in God’s kingdom. It’s good not to fall at all, but if you do, do not give up, pick up yourself and continue the race. Who knows, God might use you who fell and returned to the race to save those who have fallen and are still in the pits.
The words again said, “we must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.” In doing so, we are to lay aside everything that slows us down, especially that sin that distracts us and will not go away. It is the sin the Bible says we should lay aside not the race, and we will come to that.
Understand that it is the things that slow us down and the sin that distracts us that we are to lay aside not the race or our faith in Jesus to forgive our sins.
Yes, we are to lay aside the sins, not our faith in His blood to wipe away the consequences of the sins and make us whole repeatedly until we become strong and no longer fall. If you lay aside your faith in the power of the blood to wash you and make you whole repeatedly, or the power of God’s mercy to forgive you and restore you back to practical righteousness, you will give up.
Sadly, many lay aside their faith instead of the things that slows them down, especially the sins that distract them. They lay their faith aside and walk away like the person who wanted to walk away but remembered to send me a message. When you give up and walk away, you have laid aside your faith instead of the sin, and that is not good.
People who lay aside their faith instead of their sin at the feet of the Cross, will draw back to perdition and lose their inheritance in Christ. But those who fight on and seek the LORD to help them lay aside their sins instead of their faith, believing in the forgiving power of Jesus Christ and the cleansing effect of His Holy Spirit, will make it.
HEAVEN IS NOT FOR MEN WHO NEVER FELL, OR WHO NEVER SINNED, BECAUSE THE BIBLE SAYS ALL HAVE SINNED.
The only people in Heaven who have never sinned are God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Then the angels, the creatures and all other Heavenly beings.
But even the 24 elders were people who walked this earth and sinned. Every human there sinned at one time or the other in their lives, but they never gave up. They kept fighting and laying their sins at the feet of the Cross instead of laying aside their faith and walking away like some wants to do. Finally, today they are in Heaven.
You will also be in Heaven one day if you follow their pattern of life. Major portion of our devotional text says:
“Dear friends, even though we say these things, we are still convinced that better things are in store for you and that they will save you.
God is fair. He won’t forget what you’ve done or the love you’ve shown for him… …We want each of you to prove that you’re working hard so that you will remain confident until the end.
Then, instead of being lazy, you will imitate those who are receiving the promises through faith and patience. Hebrews 6:9-12 GWT
The last line tells us that instead of being lazy, we should imitate those who are receiving the promises through faith and patience.
We are to imitate these precious saints in Heaven today, who made it there, not because they never fell, but because they never gave up.
SO, HEAVEN IS NOT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER SINNED, BUT FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT GIVE UP.
People who laid aside their sins not their faith in Jesus to forgive them of their sins. You are to be a Christian who lay aside sins not faith in Christ. You lay sin aside by not giving up but standing up in faith in Jesus and demonstrating it by reaching out to His Holy Spirit for help and cleansing through the prayer of repentance, and a fasting that helps you to yield your soul to His grace.
Finally, understand that it is a race we are in, not a championship. It is a Christian race, not a Heavenly Championship. There is no one to beat in this race. There is only a finishing line to get to. Each person has his or her own finishing line in Christ. That is where you must get to.
Yes, the Bible teaches that we provoke ourselves to do righteous works, but there is no one to beat in this race and then win a crown. We all have individual finishing lines to get to. So, why give up? It is in championships you give up, especially if everyone has overtaken you and you have no hope of winning. But in this, we are not in competition.
We are not in a championship. It is a race, not a championship.
So, even if all are holy except you, you are still not to give up. It should only motivate your faith to become holy like them also. It should not diminish your race. I pray that God use these lines to continue building us up and giving us an inheritance among they that are sanctified in Christ. Amen!!
MAKE THIS SCRIPTURE AN ADDITIONAL MEDITATION FOR THE DAY!!
So don’t lose your confidence. It will bring you a great reward. You need endurance so that after you have done what God wants you to do, you can receive what he has promised.
“Yet, the one who is coming will come soon. He will not delay. The person who has God’s approval will live by faith. But if he turns back, I will not be pleased with him.”
We don’t belong with those who turn back and are destroyed. Instead, we belong with those who have faith and are saved. Hebrews 10:35-39 GWT

THE WAY OF THE CROSS
THE CRY OF THE SPIRIT DEVOTIONALS – BY RICHARD E. S. TAKIM
TODAY’S DEVOTION (WEDNESDAY 6TH May 2026)
“So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years. You should know in your heart that as a man chastens his son, so the Lord your God chastens you.” Deuteronomy 8:3-4 NKJV
WELCOME TO THE 126TH DAY OF OUR YEAR OF STRATEGIC VICTORY.
Glory be to God for His mercies for our lives. Today is another day He has given us the chance to be alive and do His blessed will. In the Light of our Devotional text, it is also a day to eat a word from God’s throne. A major line teaches us not to live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.”
The match towards God’s glorious plans for our lives is not possible without a daily intake of solid spiritual food from God’s heart. We will not end up gloriously, if we do not feed on God’s word on daily bases. There is so much that is against man that if our souls are not fed with solid spiritual food from God’s heart on daily bases, we will end up in hell fire!! But God forbids.
Feeding our souls with solid spiritual food from God’s heart on daily bases will help us to easily overcome the practice of sin, the dominion of the flesh, the power of the evil one, the spirit of this world, the forces of temptation, the confusion of the age, the trials of the faith, the spiritual pollution or pressure of the perilous times we live in, etc.
The Bible says Jesus was tempted in all points yet without sin. The reason was because of what He fed His soul with on daily bases, the word of the LORD. You can see that in the mountain of temptation. He responded to each temptation with a word from the scriptures. It is what you feed on that comes out of you when you are tempted or when you come under pressure.
If you feed on the secular, the sinful and the ungodly, the secular, the sinful or the ungodly will come out of you in the day of pressure, especially the pressure of temptation, and you will fall instead of overcoming like Jesus did. The godly and holy will never come out of you in the day of temptation until your soul has fed on it before the temptation came.
Let me share my little experience with this truth, maybe it will help us.
When I consciously gave my life to Christ between 1987 to 88, I spent those years with the word and prayer until my soul was built on the foundation of sound doctrine. The result was holy living that did not even know it was possible to fall into sin. I never despised those who fell, I only saw them as people who had not fed their souls with what will not make them fall.
MY SOUL HAD THE HOLY WORD OF THE LORD LYING IN ITS SUBCONSCIOUSNESS, AND NOTHING ELSE.
In fact, I never knew I could fall into sin until 2002. Look at those years, from 1987 to 2002 (15 Years), the word gave me such an internal energy that we had so many beautiful women around us in school, and in ministry places, but we were never drawn to sleep with any. There were those who slept even in our arms after seasons of intense prayer where the power of God fell and slay them. But our thoughts were not carnal towards them.
All we thought when we met any lady, especially the promiscuous ones, was how to get them soaked with the Holy Ghost and no thought arose in our hearts on sleeping with anyone. At one time my unbelief friends were calling me eunuch. I laughed because I never even knew in full what that word meant until much later.
The secret of this kind of life was not just prayer, fasting, or any other thing, but what we have fed our souls with over the years. Your life is shaped by what lies in your soul, in your subconsciousness and nothing else.
We do not suddenly fall into sin. You hear people who come to confess sins saying, “I did not know what happened, before I knew it, I was doing this and that.” I think I was under attack. Friend, it was not an attack, but a manifestation of what lives in your soul. You have fed your soul with that thing without even knowing it, now it has manifested itself in form of sin.
No one can ever fall into sin practically, until some thoughts that will make that happen live in their souls. If a thought that will make us fall into sin with anyone, does not live in our souls, nothing will make us fall even if they stand naked before us. We will just take a cloth and cover their nakedness or feel disgusted. That was what I experienced in those precious years.
We were not even doing what I call Pentecostal Flirting which many do in church today, then later marry the people or sleep with them and move on.
Pentecostal flirting is enjoying the company of the opposite sex and always seeking to be with or talk to them on phone, not because of any righteous thing, but because your heart has been drawn towards them sexually. However, your mind is yet to be drawn to it, or come to terms with it, hence even thinking God is moving you to talk with them or be their friend.
What will make it look fine is, when you meet them, you just discuss scriptures, sermons, and other religious things, but what lies in your heart, without your soul knowing it, is sexual or romantic.
That is when you find your heart, if you are single, telling you they are your wife or husband. But before GOD they are not. A lot of believers are involved in Pentecostal flirting, Even the married ones.
So, we were not involved in that. Our souls had the holy words of God in them, from books, conferences, tapes, video messages and all that, living within.
I WAS CHASTE NOT BY CHANCE, BUT BY WHAT LIVED IN MY SOUL.
