Hi, I’m Rick – the Local Friendly Handyman. Welcome to my channel!

Here you’ll find videos showcasing completed projects for my customers, as well as tool reviews, material breakdowns, and helpful tips on the fixings and techniques I use to build strong, custom-made items. I focus on bespoke builds rather than flat-pack assembly because I believe in creating sturdier, longer-lasting results.

I mainly use Makita 18V tools, along with gear from trusted brands like Evolution and DeWalt. I also test and review new products, so feel free to reach out if there’s something you’d like me to try.

Outside of work, I love cooking and occasionally share a recipe or two—nothing beats a good meal after a long day on the tools. In our downtime, my partner and I enjoy road trips across the UK, Europe, and the USA, whether it’s in our trusty Volvo or on my Harley-Davidson’s.
