Hi chat since I may or may not have been listening to the grease soundtrack on loop & indulging in a super awesome series called bittersweet I decided it would be fun to make a silly 1950s au!!!

I have some brief lore for each character / the overall story so I’ll dump that here as well <3
I like most of the designs except for….the creature….(I’m so sorry Andre)

Xandria + Yukiro - Greasers - Like in the regular storyline they both moved from Japan but in order to fit in they became apart of the greasers! They also fake dated for a while in order to avoid suspicion from their fruitiness but alas Xandria got found out anyways

Again like in the regular storyline she meets god due to constant harassment & Yukiro is left by himself, he attempts to fit in as much as possible but has a secret passion for music which he is too ashamed to indulge in

He’s also a chronic smoker.

Aria - Rockabilly fashion! - Owns millions of poodle skirts, deeply afraid of the greasers but manages to find out about Yukiros secret passion for music & wants the best for him (esp since she was pretty close with Xandria in this au!!)

She essentially blackmails him to joining aftertaste ❤️

Rina - Traditional Chinese wear! - Still belongs to a famous pianist family, doesn’t rlly gaf what people think of her at school but is too fearful to break away from the piano….
When she meets Aria she begins to slowly work up the courage to express himself through other kinds of music

Andre - Preppy….it sounds odd to say that unironically PLS - Very silly guy, gets bullied but stays pretty jolly, is good friends with Aria!!! Thinks he’s good friends with Yukiro (he follows him around & yaps his ear off)

Aftertaste itself is much more rock & roll style, Yukiro plays electric guitar & Rina plays keyboard due to hashtag societal norms
