MOVING ONTO THE UNTRAINEDS HOORAY! I absolutely love seeing these just bc they’re not the main part of the card doesn’t make them less special to me <3

Firstly talking about Ruis untrained for her own card! I absolutely love the lighting here it’s absolutely gorgeous!!! I’m a big fan of warmer colouring esp since the light is shining straight on her ^_^

It looks like they’re both in an empty classroom gathering from the sun it’s probably early in the morning? Since Rui has a book & Touko has her guitar I gather they’re going some one on one practice, some of their prev focuses have been about music so I gather this might be the same

Either way Rui looks so pretty, HER EYES AGH she looks so soft & gentle she’s literally glowing 😭🩷
On everyone’s SOULS she’s the prettiest bandori character ever

And about the cameo from Tsukushis untrained! IM SO HAPPY SHES GOT A NEW CAMEO it’s been a good while I believe…,,
She deserves it 100%! I love seeing her appear more it’s like surprise bonus content

Again the lighting here is super pretty why does she always look so gorgeous GUH
They both look so natural here I do rlly like the art style & anatomy :)

Yapfest 1 - Trained card

At long last I can fully yap about this card! (It’s only been a few hours)
Okay guys this post is going to be long LMAO

I’M SO HAPPY MORFONICA HAVE GOTTEN A NEW SET the last one was on the 24th April so it’s been a few months!!!! I’ve been greatly missing Rui, I thought she would be a 2 or 4 star based on her current track record but I’m rlly happy for her to get a 5 star instead!!!

A Touko & Rui banner is always super interesting as well, I like seeing their stories & interactions ^_^

I love the purple & green saturated colouring, it’s very diff from what colour Rui is usually seen with so it’s a nice change! It also contrasts very nicely with the monochromatic outfit

I absolutely LOOOVEE the concept of this card!!!! The massive dart is super cool looking & I appreciate the detail of the end being painted like a butterfly to link to morfonica then of course the massive dart board in the back is the cherry on top!!! I think it’s a super unique & cool theme to have for a card :D

I love how you can see a dart has already been thrown in the board + the splatters & glass flying rlly add to it! The chromatic effect as well is a lovely touch

THE POSE LOOKS SO COOL it’s badass but not in a sexualised way!!!! The anatomy has been drawn very nicely & I like how the dart fits between her fingers ^_^
The halftone dots combined with some of the thicker lineart create a more “comic” feel to it which I also love since it isn’t smth you see often with bandori

The outfit itself is unbelievably cunty I love the chains paired with the smaller metallic gems esp with the lower half! I also love the headband & choker <3

Or course I couldn’t go without talking about HOW BREATHTAKINGLY STUNNING AND BEAUTIFUL SHE IS HELLO the way she’s staring right at the camera AGH she might be the most prettiest girl ever

It might sound weird but I just love how her face has been drawn it looks so perfect maybe I’m just saying shit at this point /silly

In summary I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS CARD!!!! Defo one of my favs it was worth the long wait ILYSM RUI YASHIO

I absolutely love the outfit!!! The monochrome colours contrast rlly nicely with the cards themselves & look pretty on its own :)

The little chibis also made me realise that she’s got specs of glitter in her hair SO PRETTY

Before I go on a massive yap fest about her cards properly here’s the full set!!! I would like to say I absolutely ADORE the art style change!! It looks super sharp & has a big impact, it reminds me of the CSM or persona collab <3

I love the use of shadows & saturated colours with the random objects it’s one of bandoris most creative sets in my opinion & I’m a massive fan 🩷🩷🩷
Not just of Rui but all of them! One of the first sets in ages where I’m obsessed with the entire set even the 2 star, MORFONICA NEVER MISS! Missed you guys it’s been a long few months
