Cailin was first introduced to Pilates in 2005 and has been practicing at studios in Boston, New York and Charlotte ever since. She felt an immediate connection with the movements in both body and mind, and knew immediately she wanted to share her passion for it with others. In 2006, she received her Pilates Mat certification through Power Pilates in Boston, and began teaching classes in New York. After having two children and experiencing the benefits of equipment-based Pilates throughout and after her pregnancies, she became an even stronger believer in the movement system and wanted to take her teaching to the next level. In 2014, she took the Comprehensive Equipment Training Program through Balanced Body, and taught group equipment classes and private one-on-one sessions at Davidson Pilates through Spring 2018.

New video just added to mvmtwithcailin.com! This one is a 45-minute all standing workout with a block. This simple prop is used to strengthen and mobilize both the lower and upper body, all while activating core stability. We’ll also add in some balance work to really fire up the glutes and stabilizing muscles. You may not look at a block the same way again, and I hope that’s a good thing!
