“This man is beyond rehabilitation.”
At 23, a prosecutor said those words about Jason Ivy. Then the judge handed him eight years in a Texas prison.
Jason says his life ended that day, and he thanks God it did.
Days later he was chained to a stranger on a prison bus. That stranger had already served 10 years, and he pulled out a little Bible and started reading John 1 to him. Jason didn’t understand any of it yet. But God was already at work.
He came up for parole at just 11 months and turned it down. He told God he’d serve every day if that’s what it took to be ready. He served 7½ years and calls them the best years of his life.

"It's okay to have the line. We don't wanna chase every line."
Dr. Lauren Dickson is a board-certified cosmetic dermatologist who has treated thousands of faces. Her biggest lesson is that less is more. Too much Botox can leave you looking heavy and expressionless. As she puts it, "It can actually age you."
On Episode 57 of Insights with Marcia, she shares:
✨ The "boring" 4-product routine dermatologists actually use: a gentle cleanser, a vitamin C serum, a mineral sunscreen, and a retinoid with a good moisturizer at night
✨ The one product you can cut today (toner)
✨ Why most people over-exfoliate, and why once a week is plenty
✨ The trends she wishes would disappear, from beef tallow to castor oil
✨ Why sometimes the best thing she can tell a patient is "no"
Her goal isn't for you to look like someone else. It's for you to look like "the best, most vibrant version of yourself."

He opened the one door nobody went into and found two Egyptian mummies floating in water. 😳
For decades, Wes Carlson was the man insurance companies called when a huge commercial disaster hit. He worked hurricanes and fires, Superstorm Sandy losses like the United Nations building and the Holland Tunnel, and one flooded college library holding two mummies insured for about a billion dollars each.
Swipe through for the mummy story and for the $100,000 check Wes calls "the hardest check I ever had to write." That one phone call got his company known as the one that "won't lie to you," and the business grew from there.
In Episode 56, Wes tells Marcia how he started his company with $5,000, went five years without a paycheck and never took on debt. He also explains why he stopped chasing money:
"Excellence produces people who call you. It's the best marketing tool there is."

"If you don't know where you came from, then you're shaped by whoever's around you."
Only 15 people decide what 5.5 million Texas students learn, and the textbooks they approve can end up in classrooms in up to 30 other states. Yet most voters couldn't name even one of them.
Pastor Kason Huddleston preached for 32 years. Then his city's mayor tried to shut down his church's block party during COVID, and he decided preaching alone wasn't changing anything. Now he's running for the Texas State Board of Education.
On Episode 54 of Insights with Marcia, he explains why he calls it "the most powerful board in the state of Texas." He also covers what House Bill 1605 is changing in classrooms and why he believes "this is not political anymore. It's become spiritual."

Grandparenting isn't retirement from ministry — it's a whole new mission field. 🙌
With 65 million grandparents in the U.S. and 7 out of 10 involved in raising their grandkids, this generation has more influence than they may realize. Brenda Peitzman of Legacy Coalition joins Marcia to talk about what it really means to be an intentional Christian grandparent — through storytelling, prayer, intentional questions, and simply showing up.
Because the more we control, the less influence we'll have. Sometimes the greatest gift is running alongside our families instead of trying to run them.

It's been one year since Charlie Kirk was murdered — and the conspiracy theories are still flying.
Constitutional lawyer Keisha Toni Derry returns to Insights with Marcia to cut through the noise with facts, not feelings. She walks through the evidence against Tyler Robinson — DNA, text confessions, ballistics, the note under the roommate's keyboard — and doesn't hold back on influencers who accuse Israel, Egypt, Erika Kirk, or TPUSA of murder without a shred of proof.
Her verdict: "If you're going to accuse anyone else of murder, you better have evidence to do it."
Keisha also breaks down what's next — why she predicts Tyler Robinson pleads guilty to avoid death row, and why the judge's slow pace is caution, not weakness.

The Lindsay Clancy trial just ended in a mistrial — and this two-part conversation gets at exactly why this case has been so hard to look away from.
A 40-year postpartum nurse who's walked two mothers through psychosis firsthand. An attorney breaking down what a hung jury actually means, and why she thinks this ends the way Andrea Yates' case did.
But the moment that stuck with us most wasn't legal — it was human: "I could drop this baby on the tile floor and he would be fine. We don't need you." A mother, mid-psychosis, who by every account was loving and "normal" days before.
Postpartum psychosis isn't a character flaw. It's a medical emergency — and most families don't know the warning signs until it's too late.

Larry Page got the idea for Google search... while he was ASLEEP. 🤯
And that's not even the wildest part — a THIRD of the entire Bible is built on dreams and visions. Joseph's dreams, Pharaoh's dreams, Solomon's wisdom, even the Abrahamic covenant... all delivered while someone was sleeping.
So why don't more Christians know how to understand their own dreams?
@Charity Kayembe is back on Insights with Marcia to break down her DAESI method for decoding what God might be saying to you at night — and why dream dictionaries are lying to you (symbols aren't universal, they're personal).

He died three times on the table. Doctors gave him hours to live. Then he discovered something even more impossible than surviving.
Bruce Van Natta is back on Insights with Marcia — the man crushed by a 10,000-lb logging truck, five arteries severed, small intestine gone and grown back after one prayer. History Channel tried to debunk his story. They couldn't.
This time Bruce and Marcia go deeper — into Proverbs 18:21: "The power of life and death is in the tongue." Bruce shares the story of a woman's 40-year tumor that vanished under his hands... then came back, every single time, the moment she rubbed the spot and said "it can't be gone." Her faith wasn't in the prayer. It was in the tumor.
He also opens up about a baby with no heartbeat for three weeks — and what happened when the parents kept speaking life anyway instead of preparing for the worst.
Bruce doesn't just pray for people — he speaks directly to sickness and pain, in Jesus' name, the way he says Jesus modeled in Mark 11. Not out of presumption. Out of obedience.
