Chronicles of Norway tells her story one song at a time. The war songs are her life: the ships leaving the fjord, the night before battle, the last fight. The ballads are what she left behind: the home she never returned to, the people who still wait for her, the candle that still burns in the window.
Every song is a new chronicle, and every video tells its chapter in the description. Start from the beginning and let it play.
Dark Nordic folk, Viking ballads and epic war songs, for listening, remembering and getting lost in the north.
New chronicles every week.
Chronicles of Norway
Hello, Vikings from all over the world!
I'm getting close to 3,000 subscribers. Compared to other channels, I'm still small, but to everyone who subscribed and listened to my music: I will be forever grateful.
My songs change from one to the next. Some of you prefer songs of war, others songs of love, but as a Gemini, I write every song with whatever my heart is feeling.
If any of these songs touched your heart, there is no greater reward I could receive.
In this short time, your comments have made me smile, and they have made me cry too. Some of your stories touched my soul and inspired me to write new lyrics.
To those who have lost a loved one: I wish you comfort. To those going through illness: I wish you strength and hope. I can't be there with you, but I hope my music keeps you company.
Have a song in mind? Leave your request in the comments. You don't need to be a member, and I read every one. I can't promise to make them all, but I will do my best.
And if the music moves you, share it with someone who needs it.
Once again, thank you so much.
Skål! 🍻
