Update on my right eye after retina surgery that was done on April 2nd. I had 2 cataract surgeries earlier in the year before that. But updating you on the progress from having the retina surgery. The gas bubble appears to be gone this morning. No more hanging my head down a few minutes every hour or lying on my side if I don't want to. Because the eye is filled with fluid now, the cloudiness and a little blurriness and distortion from light hitting the eye I am guessing will probably remain, but the sight is mostly there. After surgery they fill the eye with a gas bubble and as time goes by that slowly gets smaller and eventually goes away. And as it gets smaller, the eye fills with fluid as they have removed the gel ball that was filling the eye, this is what they replace it with as they have to remove the ball to get to the retina and reattach the portion that became detached. I have decided to move back up north near a couple of my friends and where there is more medical care , in town taxis and city buses should I ever get bad enough with eyes or other situations where I may not be able to drive some day. Iowa is also cutting programs that the needy, including myself as I am poor, need. And they have cut down on how much I receive in benefits each month. Iowa is just a little more expensive than Minnesota and Wisconsin. Though it expensive in every state now, it is still cheaper in Minnesota and Wisconsin. One of my friends is my emergency contact and works at the hospital where I had emergency surgery for retina. Although I wish to move to a little warmer climate someday. I think it is best to move back to southeast Minnesota or La Crosse, WI where my emergency contact and everything I may need is at. I been driving, even with a bad eye, up to La Crosse quite often. I was so happy to finally see well again and have new glasses after those cataract surgeries and then the retina in right eye started detaching a month after officially being pronounced healed from those cataract surgeries. However, there is good news, retina specialist feels I should regain most, if not all, of my sight that I had before the retina started to detach. But it will be awhile yet to know for sure. So I have been on the road a lot and also been looking for apartments I can afford and that accepts dogs. And there isn't much to choose from in the subsidized housing market up that way that accepts dogs, and all market rate apartments up there are extremely expensive. So the reason you haven't seen me around doing videos and such is because of all of this going on right now. But I will be back more to tackle christian nationalism, speak truth to power, speak out on the falsehoods of Christianity and the dangers of religion. I have not given up.

Underwent emergency surgery for retina detaching. They think we got it in enough of time to save my vision, but I don't know how much. And I didn't have much longer before they would not have been able to fix the eye. I got in for surgery just in time.
