The Mexican sunflowers (Tithonia diversifolia) are reaching for the sky in the food forest. They make a lot of biomass fast and are one of our primary "chop and drop" plants. The blooms also smell like honey, and the butterflies love them. I've also seen them used as a thick, dense privacy hedge between properties. Really great plant.
