I honestly tried to give myself every reason not to attend the service last night.
Even once we made it to the parking lot, I looked at my husband and said, “You can go in, and I’ll wait for you in the car.” But I’m so glad I decided to walk through those doors.

From the moment I stepped inside until the moment I went to sleep, my soul and spirit were fed. The worship service was amazing—every person who held the mic gave it their all, and the energy kept everyone on their feet.

I’ve been following Pastor Hannah for a little over two years now and have truly enjoyed his teaching—whether it’s Thursday night Bible study, Saturday teaching, or his Sunday morning word, it’s always uplifting. When I found out he would be in the building, I said, I have to go and see this man of God in person. I need to be in the room.

And let me just say—the only difference about last night’s experience was that I was able to be in the room. 🙌🏾 During his message from Mark 8, Pastor Hannah said something that pierced my heart: If the only way God can bless me is to spit in my eyes, do it, Lord.

For the first time ever, I laid on the altar. I’m in a place in my life where I need to be completely uncomfortable—praising and acknowledging God on a deeper level. My gift and assignment won’t allow me to play it safe or stay in my comfort zone. I didn’t ask for this calling, but I’ve answered it.

During the sermon, Pastor Hannah instructed us to grab our neighbor’s hand and squeeze. The way my husband and I locked hands—and hearing him shout “Jesus!”—was indescribable. My soul was truly fed.

At the end of the service, Pastor Hannah came outside for a meet and greet. There was no way I was leaving without taking that opportunity to connect and get a picture. As I waited my turn, I observed him closely—he’s the same humble, friendly, down-to-earth man you see on TV. When it was my turn, he reached out his arm to me as if he’d known me personally. We took our photo, and as I walked away, he gently touched my back as if to say, all is well.

If you’ve made it this far in my reflection, let me leave you with this: God is real. Step into the room, surrender, and if you’re blessed to share space with an obedient vessel, embrace it. Let your tank be refueled—and when you’re poured into, make sure you’re available to pour into someone else. 🙏🏾

I pray this reaches whoever needs it...

When the enemy comes in like a thief,
you have two choices:

You can pray and stay in your comfort zone...
OR
You can pray with action.
Strap up your boots.
Get in your Word.
Denounce every lie and let the enemy know—
He has NO place in your life, your family, your home, your business, your body, or anything else he tries to attack.

This is your reminder: Prayer + action = power.
