I don’t consider myself political, but whenever I question the system or criticize politicians, I’m labelled as political. That’s exactly the problem — many people stay silent out of fear of being labelled. I refuse to be silent. I’ll speak the truth, regardless of what anyone calls it. This is the only way to fight with corruption.

When will they finally understand that Kurds and Turks are two distinct ethnic groups?
We come from separate identities, with different languages, cultures, and cuisines. Turkish are Turkic origin and Kurdish are Indo-Iranian. Kurdish culture evolved in the Zagros Mountains, with deep connections to Mesopotamia and Persian civilization, while Turkish culture is tied to Central Asia and later Ottoman structures. Furthermore, decades of Kurdish war against Turkiye since 1920's in aim to create a homeland called Kurdistan - within the Turkish borders - should make it crystal clear that we are not the same. Our struggle reflects not just political differences, but a profound and enduring desire to preserve a separate national identity. We aren't the same.
