5 Business Lessons I Wish I Knew in My 20s:

1. Spend time in silence every morning. God always seeks moments to inspire great business ideas, but a cluttered mind hinders reception. Clear distractions for better reception.

2. Having great business ideas alone isn't enough; taking action is crucial. Remember, faith without works is dead.

3. Stay self-aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Despite hype or criticism from friends and family, stay true to yourself.

4. You'll never feel fully prepared, but start anyway. Begin with what you have, and assistance will come when others see your initiative.

5. Learn from others instead of trying to figure everything out on your own. Read books, enroll in courses, seek mentorship or coaching programs. It's an investment, not a waste, and will expedite your progress towards goals.

Lesson from today:
By quieting your mind every morning, taking action, remaining self-aware, starting before you feel ready, and learning from others, you increase your chances of achieving more than the average person and accelerating your progress.

Trust takes time. Research shows it takes over seven hours eleven interactions and four platforms before a total stranger begins to trust you. Give value before asking for a sale.

M = Money
You earn it after you fill a vacuum with real value. Show people you can solve their problem then guide them to the next step.

Lesson from today:
To make money online you must first learn how to grab attention fill a vacuum build trust with time and give so much value that paying you money becomes the next logical step.

Instead:

It’s hard to build a business without building your network. Who you know is often more important than what you know.

You’re not broke because you’re lazy. Most people work hard. You’re broke because of the choices you’ve made and the company you keep.

I’m not here to preach, because none of us have it all figured out. But as an entrepreneur, one of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the power of building your network.

The truth is, most of your friends won’t support your business. Don’t take it personally. Half of them are struggling to support themselves.

Prioritize your time. Build business partnerships. Surround yourself with like-minded individuals. Because at the end of the day, you have bills and responsibilities your friends won’t help you pay.

You don’t need more friends. You need more business partners.

Stop hanging out spending money, and start networking and making money.

Lesson of the day: The right network will stretch your mindset and multiply your income.

Here’s how I escaped burnout, broke free from overwhelm, and took control of my time as a business owner this year.

I’ve found this approach incredibly useful and if you’re reading this, I hope it helps you too.

Step 1: 4 AM to 10 AM
Wake Up / Startup
Who are you when you’re not INTERRUPTED?
This is the quietest, clearest version of you. I use it to pray, meditate, work out, and focus on projects that really move the needle.


Step 2: 10 AM to 4 PM
Deep Work / Execution
Who are you when you’re not DISORGANIZED?
This is where you follow through. I use this time for meetings, client work, and scheduled execution.

Step 3: 4 PM to 8 PM
Unwind / Recharge
Who are you when you’re not LABORING?
Rest is not retreat. It’s fuel. I usually in my backyard watering my plants, meeting for dinner, or catch up with friends on the phone.

Step 4: 8 PM to 4 AM
Wind Down / Rest
Who are you when you’re not EXHAUSTED?
Sleep is my superpower. I’m in bed by 8 PM with my journal or calming music. Phone stays on Do Not Disturb.

If you have young kids or a busy home, this may look different, but the principle is the same. Protect and reclaim your time at all costs with the IDLE framework.

I - INTERRUPTED
D - DISORGANIZED
L - LABORING
E - EXHAUSTED

This is exactly what has helped me get more done in the first 90 days of this year without burning out. I hope it helps you too.
