Happy Halloween, y'all! Hope you've had a great one. I spent mine like any typical day... fossil hunting, hahaha! Anyways, I had something on my mind and figured I'd ask your opinions about something. For a long time now I've posted my videos on Sunday evenings at 6:30 PM Eastern. The last couple of months have been a little more erratic with me posting on different days. I'd like to do my best to stick to a schedule. I'm assuming everyone's answer will be quite varied, but is there any general consensus on what day of the week/weekend y'all would like to see videos posted? Do I keep aiming for Sundays or do I try something else?

Curious on your thoughts! Thanks!

It's moments like this, surrounded by 350 Million Year Old rocks from the Carboniferous Period, where I feel a sense of place and purpose in the universe.

Splitting rocks here reveal the plant life of the ancient rainforests that dominated during that time. What an honor to catch a glimpse of our planet's strange and beautiful prehistoric past.

Hey y'all! I've been back in Florida for a while, but as you noticed I filmed a whole lot of treasure hunting while I was up there! I posted the last of those adventures last week, so I wanted to hop on here and let you know that I have a fun classic Florida fossil hunting video scheduled for tomorrow! It'll be posted at 6:30 PM Eastern Time.

Also, I was looking through some of my old film scans and wanted to share this one with y'all. I took this back in 2022 while shooting my first roll of film ever! I was using a camera from the 1930's called the Ansco B2 Cadet. It's a small box camera. I didn't even mean to take a double exposure, but it turned out to be a very happy accident! Be sure to click on the image to see the whole thing. It only previews some of it. 🙏

This popped up on Facebook memories and I had to share with y'all! When Mom was sick, I was spending months at a time up in Michigan with her. We found these lookin' through old stuff. I'm not sure if my age at the time, but I sure loved fossils and treasure hunting just as much as I do now!

Hey y'all! I've got a question for you.

I spend a LOT of my time doing photography with antique and vintage film cameras. I have shared some of my images during videos and the majority of y'all have seemed to enjoy it when I do that.

I would like to share more about my journey with film photography and why it means so much to me. Is this something you'd like to see more of on my channel, or would you be more interested if I were to start a second channel about film photography?

In my opinion, capturing that image that tells a story is just as much of a "treasure" as anything else. Also, many of these cameras, and film photography in general, have an interesting history to dive into. For these reasons I do think these types of videos could exist on my current channel. Maybe there could be segments of treasure hunting videos where we take a few minutes to photograph nature and share the images? Maybe there could be room for an occasional full video on this sort of topic?

Anyway, it's a lot to explain but I think y'all get it. What do you think, share here or create a second channel to do so?
