God asks us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Not to love outselves first- but to die to ourselves & lay down our lives for our friends. To love those who do not love us, for what Good are we if we love those who love us. His ways are higher & greater. When we step in front of Him whom death could not hold, His ultimate judgement will question “How much did you abide in love?” For he is love in its purest and true form. Our Lord is beckoning us to come home to Him. “Feed my sheep” He cries. “Feed my sheep”.

Prayer is not a one and done.

Keep petitioning. Cry out to the Lord. Some might only lean on Jesus’s teaching to not be overly talkative in prayer and we should be still and listen.

Psalm 55 also encourages us to cry out to God in supplication.

He wants a relationship with us!
