Will I spend it weighing my worth and wondering if they think I'm cool or just some weirdo trying too hard to fit in?
Will I live it trying to hold together the image of someone who has it all figured out? Or will I seek clarity in a world full of noise?
Will I burn my days bending to opinions, dressing myself in approval, watering down my truth just to be liked?
Will I play it safe because it's the only life I have. And I can't risk failing. Or will I dare the edge, jump anyway and learn to fly mid-fall?
Or will I rise even when I don’t feel ready? Even when my voice shakes and my hands tremble and my vision isn't clear. Will I still choose to stand?
Because soon, sooner than I think, their eyes will turn away; it won't matter what they thought about me. The only thing that will matter is what I did with this one life of mine.
I have only one life to live, Lord help me live it with purpose, Help me live it loud, Help me live it unashamedly, Help me live it with a fiery conviction.
Whenever I hear, "follow God's purpose for your life," I used to dread that statement because of two things:
Firstly, I know that nothing really works or succeeds outside God's plan or purpose, so I just had to choose His plan.
Secondly, I dreaded it the most because I thought God's purpose and plan would not be as grand and ambitious as the way I'd want life to be for me.
I felt God's purpose for my life would not be as big as mine. I just had a subconscious feeling that abundance was not for God or anyone who wants to live His ways. I felt like God doesn't like big things.
Oh! Naive me, I didn't know any better.
I didn't know my 'big dreams' were only a drop in the ocean of the great things He had planned for me.
I never knew God’s kingdom was BIG business. I never knew I was part of a big Love Plan. I'm sure some of you still think today like I used to.
You might ask questions like: - What if God doesn't really know what's best for me? - What if God's plan leads me to scarcity and suffering?
BUT THINK ABOUT IT, Why did God make billions of stars? Wouldn’t a few thousand have sufficed?
If He wants you limited or impoverished on this earth, why such an extravagance in the heavens and on the Earth?
How could God want you to live in deprivation when He created so much wealth all around you?
Why did He make such huge mountains and so many of them, full of treasures?
What purpose would it serve if His children are to live in scarcity and insufficiency?
Why did God create such vast oceans and fill them with wealth if He wants His people to exist in meagreness?
If God spared no cost when creating the world, will He not do much more to sponsor the dreams that He placed in your heart?
God has big plans for you!
Contemplating God’s abundance should help you to draw courage and renewed faith to pursue God's purpose for your life.
If you should cry on Easter, it should be because you have a deep understanding why Jesus died.
Jesus wasn't a victim. He chose the Cross! He endured it for joy (you and me).
The pain of the cross was real, but so was its purpose!
For the joy set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. - Hebrews 12:2
The joy was you, me, us! The joy of defeating sin, shame, and death forever
So I don't go,
"oh why did he die"
"why did they do all that to him"
"Why did they kill him?"
Kill him? Kill who?
Didn't you read?
John 10:15-18 KJV ... I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring... I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again...
So no, I don't wallow in guilt when I think about Jesus' death. I celebrate it! If He didn't die, I'd still be in sin.
His death wasn't the end of his life It was the beginning of mine.
Comparison is a subtle thief, stealing your uniqueness and joy. It's a trap that leads you to focus on your weaknesses rather than your strengths. Remember, your significance isn't found in your similarity to others, but in what sets you apart.
You are uniquely crafted, with talents, abilities, and experiences that no one else possesses. Learn to love and appreciate yourself, just as you are. You have everything within you to succeed and live a fulfilling life.
So, take ownership of your journey. Live the life Good had called you to live not what the society or pressure wants you to live.
Last night a young man was trending on twitter for committing suicide.
This young man is a first class graduate in engineering. Such a smart young man.
He had innovative ideas, and he was on his way to building a tech startup.
When they investigated the reason for taking his life…
According to the story, he has been tweeting suicide quotes for the past two months and nobody paid attention to it.
They thought it was the normal banter and cruise people do on twitter.
Like it has gotten to the point where people throw cruise with suicide tweets? Too sad.
Why would a 25 year old take his own life?
He said he was tired of the pressures of life, the social media pressure to make it, the society's demands to succeed at all cost, the get rich or die trying mantra, etc.
He had tried on his own to make it, all his attempts at success failed woefully.
He also applied for a TEF grant, but he was rejected, that was his last shot at life, the rejection did him dirty.
My generation, I know nobody has told you that 70% of the lifestyle you see on social media is called PERCEPTION MANAGEMENT.
I know nobody told you that some of what you see as success on social media is called BUILDING PERCEPTION.
I know nobody told you that not all the news the blogs carry are true, that they are sometimes chasing clout to BANK TRAFFIC.
I know you don't know that they borrow clothes, rent cars, rent houses, rent shoes, rent dollars, and rent iPhone so they can do LIFESTYLE MARKETING.
BREEEAAAAAATHE MY GENERATION!!!!
Detox yourself of this pressure to make it at all cost.
You will keep falling for this if you don't understand SOCIAL ENGINEERING.
Social engineering helps you to see beyond the smoked screen.
It helps you understand the difference between what is true and what is the truth.
Talk yourself up! Give your life a destination through your words. Your vehicle to success is in you, particularly in your mouth. You are the driver of your life. Use words to beautify your life and set it on divine course. The fruits you are harvesting today were planted as a seed by your words yesterday. Words create a magnetic force that pulls the manifestation of what we speak.
Affirm that there's divine order in your life and the favour factor is at work in your life. Remember, all of God's blessings are in your life. Your voice is the activation code. Refuse to be a victim of life's circumstances or a victim of another man's mistake. Irrespective of the situation, never talk yourself down. Your words are your lifting power.
Society tells you that failure is something to fear, something to avoid at all costs. But what if I told you that failure is actually one of the best things that can happen to you.
Failure isn’t and will never be the end rather it’s the beginning of something greater.
This video will help you rethink everything you’ve been told, and make the most out of failure like never before! 👇👇

What if the reason you're struggling to show up is because you're trying to impress?
Not every post needs to shake the world.
But if it carries value, it will reach the hearts that matter.
This is your reminder: you’re not here to impress. You’re here to lead and transform.

It’s a strange rhythm the way God works.
You may not see it.
You may not feel it.
But what God said concerning you is already in motion.
So if all you’re hearing is silence, don’t misread it.
Share this with someone who feels stuck.
