Well gamers, as modding goes, there’s a lot of bugs that need to be squashed! It’s looking like I was a bit too optimistic with the October 31st deadline... Instead of putting out something a bit rushed and something that I’m not proud of, I’m gonna take a bit more time to make sure I realize the vision I had with this dungeon. We’re Zelda fans, and we’re not into rushed products! I'm still really excited for you all to see what I've been working on, so please, stay tuned and Happy Halloween!
Quick late night update and a small sneak peek: The basic skeleton of the dungeon is finished! From here it's a matter of finer details, texturing, vertex coloring, and making sure the actors and puzzles behave properly. (I'm trying to get as much done as I can before Legends Z-A drops on Thursday.) That Halloween deadline's looking pretty good, so stay tuned!
Now that we're a few days into spooky season, I wanted to post a quick update on the next map I'm working on. The goal is to create a custom dungeon with a cool atmosphere, to practice using custom actors and cutscenes, and ultimately to release a playable demo! Besides the actual 3D modeling, I'm kinda learning as I go, but I'm giving myself the deadline of October 31st. Hopefully I can get it done sooner than that! If you'd like to try out the custom dungeon when it comes out then subscribe and stay tuned!
