I just realized it’s 3pm and there’s no vlog set for tomorrow.
Unfortunately, haven’t had a chance to edit. And I won’t have a chance until tomorrow after work. So I’ll be late on Vlogmas vlogs. Fortunately, this gives me time to read some of the feedback on my video asking about a giveaway. Seems y’all would be interested! Vlogmas starts tomorrow! Vlogs will go up at 3:00 PM everyday.
Balancing my full time job, personal life, and Vlogmas will be hard. But, it’s my favorite type of content to watch and overall a fun time to make. This will mark my third year of doing Vlogmas and my second year of consistently posting on YouTube! Since last year, my little channel has more than doubled in size and I’m super grateful! I’m looking forward to the adventure that will be Vlogmas 2025.
Video this week is going up late. Ya girl has not recovered from Halloween weekend! No, not in a party hard type of way. But in the struggling to adjust to the time change and lacking motivation. But vlog should be up by Saturday :) Can’t fall too behind because Vlogmas 2026 is coming.
I finally started building my IKEA bookshelves. The instructions said I needed two people but as a true hyper-independent woman, I did it alone. It just took me a few days 😅
In the process, learned my vacuum is indeed broken. I guess I see myself purchasing a new one soon. My washer/dryer unit continued to be broken until it was replaced yesterday. And my apartment has been a set of little messes everywhere.
All of that to say, no vlog is going up today. Next ones should feature furniture building and decorating projects :)
No vlog is going up…yet again. Honestly, I was so excited to be back. I felt so bad that I’ve been slacking on a hobby I love so much. I had started editing when I started to get sick on Monday. I quickly went from my throat feels funny to just lying on the sofa feeling cold. I spent 3 days with a fever and a severe sore throat. No medicine was truly helping so I was just in constant pain. Finally saw a doctor yesterday and I’m glad to report I’m finally prescription medicated and feeling SO MUCH better. I’m not 100% but I finally got a full night’s rest and that’s a win in my book. I’ve also had the energy to walk around my apartment and not be in pain. Of course, I’ve had to take the whole week off of work because there was no way I’d make it in. I’m just happy to not be feeling awful
No new vlog this week — but I’ve been posting daily Shorts to hold you over!
June really said “Good luck trying to vlog!” — between being super busy and my brain refusing to feel inspired, I’ve been struggling to pick up the camera. To make it extra fun, I’ve also been battling an ongoing eye allergy. I saw a doctor who recommended over the counter eyedrops and hydrocortisone which worked for a bit… until they didn’t. So now I get the joy of booking more doctor’s appointments. It’s frustrating because doing my makeup is something I genuinely love — it’s so therapeutic for me, and not being able to do my eyes has been driving me a little nuts.
I am working on a new vlog, so programming will resume as usual soon 🤞 In the meantime, please admire my Jaws popcorn bucket — a prized possession from when I saw the premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth. It wasn’t terrible! Lots of fun callbacks to the OG Jurassic Park — plus, I had popcorn, so it’s basically a win.

This week’s vlog took me a total of 11 hours to edit! I’m not a pro at editing, so anything more complex than a simple cut and transition is a huge deal for me. This past year has been an exciting one for me. I finally faced my fear and started posting on YouTube. I’ve gotten to meet new wonderful people in the comments. It’s been fun!
I had planned on posting my first YouTube video tomorrow but life had other plans. I took on a Chewbecky matted grooming and my back has not forgave me. I’ll def be back to business as usual with my Wednesday posting schedule on Jan. 8th. Hoping sooner. I’ve honestly missed vlogging and editing so much! See y’all in 2025! 🎉
