Becca Scoops worked at the prestigious USC Medical Center in Los Angeles as a psychiatric and cardio-thoracic ICU Registered Nurse (RN). Becca became the charge nurse in the locked psychiatric ward, overseeing over 25 staff members and led daily rounds with the chief of psychiatric services. Becca transferred to the cardiothoracic ICU unit, where she took over as charge nurse. There, she coordinated care for all patients recovering from open-heart surgery and became accredited as a "critical care RN." Mitch is a retired veteran Detective with over 20 years of experience. They reside in Southern California with their two cats, Moo-Moo and Pumpkins, and their beloved Aussie Shepherd, Maisy.
