I recently visited Fort Siloso, Sentosa. One of the preserved War Museum that recalls history of Singapore during the World War 2, Malay Insurgences, Japanese domination, Surrender, Treaty, how the British firepowers twisted overnight to become Japanese (POW) camp and much more. Additionally, the 10 GR from Gurkha Rifles fought for the land called “Pulau Blakang Mati” in malay which means “land of dead, land behind death”. It is a small island with a big historical significance.

The biggest lesson we can get is “Preparation without Adaptability is nothing”.

You can visit, or if you are visiting Singapore, it is open to the public and has no entry fee.
