Khoj Samachar is an independent, English-language digital news organization based in Kathmandu, Nepal, delivering fact-based public-interest journalism to national and international audiences. Founded in 2021 by journalist Roshan Shrestha, the newsroom operates under Bethel Media House Pvt. Ltd. and focuses on governance, corruption, human rights, civic accountability, and major socio-political developments affecting Nepal and the wider region.
The platform publishes verified news through in-depth digital reports, investigative stories, and video journalism, using a multimedia approach to make credible information accessible to a global audience. In 2025, its work was highlighted by Global Voices for strengthening youth-driven, community-focused journalism and contributing to the expansion of digital literacy and independent media culture in Nepal.
