This week I am remaking my pattern making final from college in houndstooth and black corduroy! I feel very torn on whether I should line it, on one hand it is all cotton so it is something easily washable, unlike my original dress made from wool, but on the other it might add a but more body because it is a very lightweight corduroy.
This year I have set a goal to not buy anymore fabric, another goal I have is to start making shorts. Would you be interested if I did a series with shorts on sewing through a certain amount of yardage for the year, I was thinking 100-150 yards, with updates monthly?
My first video of 2024 will be up Saturday morning! I didn't plan of such a long break in my uploads. I also didn't do nearly every sewing project I had hoped to complete in December. I should be back to uploading once a week and will have a sewing video out for next week!
Skootie and I have been working hard making Christmas presents, there will not be a video out this week. There will be one out next week! Skootie and I have also cleaned and oiled this machine and have set it up to make buttonholes🙂! Merry Christmas and happy holidays!🎄
As I tidied up my sewing space today I realised the large amount of half started projects I have. Would it be interesting to make a video where I go through them all and try to finish them?

I Have another felt, this one is dark gray, ideally I would rather have a black or a dark brown, but I have light brown and dark gray. Which one would look better?
