I’d also take this moment to say that for those of you wondering, this is how I mostly decide what edits move forward.

I think the first obvious thing is quality. As in, how long did it—or did it look like—you spent on making the edit? And also how easily this edit can be replicated, or generally how hard it is to make the edit in general.

You can have an entirely different editing style than me and I would still look at your editing style. For me, it’s editing first, themes second.

I am going to redo an idea that I have attempted to do, but quit halfway through the project.
