Morning all.

Well for those who didn't see the latest short. I am not at HQ. Haven't been since Saturday morning. Instead I have been in Torquay on holiday.

I am coming back today. Got a long journey ahead of me back home. Trains... busses... more trains... waiting... trains. Yeah it's pretty much 5 hours of travel to get back. Probably won't get back until this evening.

Torquay has been alright. Just haven't really had much energy to go about and see things. I have done parts here and there but not too much. All in all though. It has been a nice couple of days away.

Looking forward to getting back home though.

It's been a sweltering week here at Masterath HQ. I don't think I've ever ran my head under a cold shower as often before on what has been the hottest June day in England.

A little bit of updates for memberships on this channel. For the last 8 months, I have just had a basic membership level to join with the perks. I have now released a higher tier with better perks to join. Those members who were at the 'Level 1' membership level are now at the level called 'Scout'. Their perks from 'Level 1' remain the same.

Evening all!

I completely forgot to announce this on Friday but I'm not at the usual HQ. Decided to take a weekend holiday to the Mud. First time I've stayed in Weston-super-Mare in well over a decade. And... well. Yeah it's not as good as it was when I was younger or young adult. I think I've finally outgrown Weston. Either that or I'm just becoming a grumpy old git. Both could be happening here to be fair.

But it's been a nice couple of days. A few of the places I liked when I was last are are still going great and are still great to go to. The Pier was... disappointing to say the least. And I got a tan on my hands specifically as I wore long sleeves for most of this weekend. It looks really odd now.

I will be catching the train back to the old town tomorrow morning. Might do some recording when I get back or just have a sleep for an hour or so.

Anyway. Watching Germany vs Curacao at the moment. Poor Curacao. 🇨🇼

Afternoon all.

Well... another year goes by, another year of this once hobby that is now a hobby/side hustle. As of today, June 4th, 2026. I started my first ever YouTube channel ‪@Masterath‬ 19 years ago today. Just one more year closer to doing this for 2 decades.

It has been an interesting year, probably the biggest of the channel's history just on what has happened over the last 12 months.

In October 2025, I was finally made a YouTube partner after many many years of trying.

In January 2026, Reboot Month returned for its 3rd series in the longest series of the Reboot Month Trilogy.

In April 2026, I completed my first ever 24-hour charity live stream. Something I have wanted to set up and do for many years. And together, we were able to raise over £500 for The British Skin Foundation.

I can't thank you all enough for your support over the course of the last 12 months and further backwards. It hasn't been an easy 12 months. Personally, it has been mostly rotten. But on a YouTube standpoint. It has been great and a brilliant distraction from my crap 12 months personally. Fingers crossed it will be better from here on.

Morning all. Happy late May bank holiday!

I have recently finished a long series that I have been working on for the past 2 months.

In 2014, I made a new Pokemon Nuzlocke challenge that gave weaker Pokemon the spotlight for a run in the remakes. Called the Infirmus Challenge.

Fainting = death
Starter must be released when your first Pokemon has been caught
Naming is mandatory
And I can only use Pokemon with a base stat total of 400 or less

Well... it is now back and it is now even harder. I am adding full Nuzlocke rules in as well so I can only catch the first Pokemon I can find on each route.

And this will be done... in Johto with Pokemon SoulSilver.

The promo is now out for this 2027 release. But for just £1 a month, as a channel member, you can see the whole Let's Play in its entirety.

Well... Nobs.

Yeah. That's the sound of me getting another year older. Makes me totally sick. Doesn't it? That card when I was 11 was right!!

It's been a very so-so day. No recording. Nothing. Just resting and enjoying my time. I've had time to pop for a nice beer or... 6? Maybe 7.

Anyway. My favourite pokemon video should be out by now. I do not apologise for any of my choices. They're my choices after all. Have your own.

I would like to say thank you once again to you all. For watching, subscribing, membering? I think that's a word... regardless. For giving this long running "boomer" channel a chance... even though I was born in 1993... so that makes me Gen X and a millennial... anyways. Thank you to you all. I do not hope that being 33 is as good as being 32. I'm hoping it's better... way better. A new year. Same messed up me. We'll get there.

Morning all!

Well that's a wrap! The fundraiser for my 24-Hour stream with all proceeds going towards The British Skin Foundation is now closed. It was a tireless 24 hours, and 3 months of plugging my arse off but we made it.

Out final total raised for The British Skin Foundation was £258.73. However, this total will be matched, so our final grand total for this stream adds up to £517.46!

I would just like to say a quick thank you to everyone who donated, shared the page, watched and commented during the stream with all of your support. With your help, we have been able to raise over £500 for The British Skin Foundation.

So... where do we go from here? Well with how successful the stream was, I am very much considering making this an annual stream. But next time, if there is one, I will be much better prepared for it.

Evening all!

I've finally found a workaround, the 1st half of the VOD for my 24-Hour Charity Stream for The British Skin Foundation that was streamed last week will be going live within the hour.

Unfortunately, YouTube has a hard limit of 12 hours in video length for uploading these days so as much as I wanted to upload the whole VOD as 1 video, YouTube simply wouldn't allow it. So I have had to split the stream into two.

I am working on getting the 2nd half done as it includes the last 8 hours of the 20 hour block, and the last 4 hours so it needs a bit more work, but fingers crossed, it should be live sometime tomorrow.
