Afternoon all! Just a quick update for this month but... yeah it was a much better month.

While my test results still haven't come back yet, it's been well over a month but still waiting at the moment, it's taking a while and I don't really like being kept in suspense this long. It's been a rough month.

Anyway, recordings. All still going well so far. Still working on a lot of projects but one of them is taking a while to complete and I am tackling that one first. Hopefully, I can get it done maybe by November at the very least. Got my fingers crossed. Once that one is done, I can tackle finishing the rest.

Just a quick update today folks, but all good here for now.

Evening all. I will be so happy to see the end of this month honestly. Bring on September!! personally.

So... this month has just been all kinds of rotten. First. My supposed 'surgery' ended up not happening earlier this month. It was to remove a growth in my lower spine but as usual, my HS has to bugger things up. To the point that I have an HS flareup up close to the area that was to to he under the knife. To the point that I would require, the doctors words not mine, a golf ball sized hole in my back to remove due to this. That and it is so close to my spine that it might cause either bone chips of an infection. 2 things I do not want... so we both agreed to cancel as my recovery wouldn't have been weeks... but months. I'm not happy with it but I have to keep telling myself it's the best thing for now. So yeah. 2 years of waiting for essentially nothing. And having to trim my beard for it... that sort of hurts the most. I'm too fat to not have it!! I'll feel better in a few more weeks.

Also. Picture 1. I have had my test on if I have sleep apnoea or not. Or am I just knackered all the time. I spent 1 evening 8 days ago with this contraption on me. It goes without saying but... yeah I didn't sleep well that night with the tube irritating my nose. That test was sent back on Tuesday so I guess I'll have to wait a bit to see if I have it or not. Regardless, it's been something I've been quite worried about for the last month since they told me that I might have sleep apnoea. It's not a nice thing to hear.

I think I've gotten over the initial fear now as I can't really do much about it either way. Sort of feeling close to normal now at least.

So recordings. Honestly. Hit and miss. Some weeks have been way better than others but the schedule is still looking... fine. 2026 might be a full year yet!

Anyway. Bugger off!! I'm having drinks! 🍺

Well... this a shit evening to have now after learning that Heavy Metal pioneer Ozzy Osbourne has died at the age of 76.

Ozzy and the band Black Sabbath were a pioneer to one of my favourite music genres. A genre that I didn't start picking up until my mid-late teens. I was always a rocker before... I still am but Metal certainly holds a special place in my heart.

I didn't get into Ozzy's music until then, but his presence and mysticism was everywhere in 90s and 00s UK culture. Whether it was the well known bat incident or The Osbornes reality show where an 8-year old me saw him as the 'sweary man'... I was very young.

But as years went on and I got more into the genres of music that I liked, one of the big metal bands that I got hooked on for a while was Black Sabbath. Specifically Paranoid and Crazy Train.

A true pioneer of music and a man who lived his life as wild as humanly possible. Sometimes, you lose your mind to your music. Something we do miss in the end. But you strive forward regardless of what new problems arise.

He will leave another huge hole in the music industry that will, I feel, never be filled.

Afternoon all. I have just realised that I haven't done a proper update in 2 months... so I might as well make one now.

First off... I probably look a mess. The reason is that England is going through its third heatwave in a month. Highs of 33 degrees today, and we're pretty much close to that now. I'm not looking forward to trying to sleep this evening.

So... what's been happening? Honestly, not much. One big thing today is that for those who have seen these community page updates for years, about 2 years ago, I mentioned that I needed to go in for surgery well after almost 24 months... it's finally happening next month. I've just had my pre surgery assessment. All went mostly well. Slightly high bloody pressure, a bit if a chubby bastard. Ehh... but I have lost a stone (14lbs) since I last checked at Christmas. And I tried to lose weight all last year and got nowhere. I couldn't be bothered this year. Typical... always comes to those who stopped caring. To be fair, probably being on the top deck of a bus on the way here that felt like a sauna for half an hour probably helped with that.

They also mentioned my known fatigue issues recently and have a suspicion that I might have sleep apnea... hopefully not as I don't need more on my plate at the moment.

So the date is set. August 8th. Over 2 years since I got referred in the first place. Feels like a bit of a waste of time for something that can easily come back. But a bit of a reprieve would be nice, at least. Like a stay of execution. But that will mean that for a week or 2, I probably won't be doing any recording but the schedule will be just fine with me out of action for a fortnight at most.

Recordings have been rolling on fine. Hopefully, this weekends heat isn't too bad, and I can get some more done.

Evening all. What is it with games that I've played getting sequels for release this year? That makes 4 including Monster Train 2, Slay The Spire 2, and Neon Abyss 2. I didn't even know this one was being made, and the trailer for it was 7 months ago.

Well... that's another one for the wishlist... and probably the channel next year.

Well, we'll know if Jaya is still there, then my playthrough is not canon...

Evening all. I have been working a bit on music recently but I am sure that I will be getting back into recording for this channel soon. Hopefully. I feel like I'm on a bit of a burnout run at the moment but I should be back to it soon.



Speaking of music. Some (probably not many) might be asking "Is there any new music from you?" It has been months for this channel apart from the Formerly Pete Theme Remaster. Morning all. First and foremost. Happy Easter. As usual. I am working the bank holidays but not this weekend so I have 2 days to get some recordings done. Just getting myself motivated to do so. It gets tougher every day but I'll get there.

So I've gone from 8 let's Plays in progress down to 6 and I'll continue to chip away at them over the next few months.

Speaking of. Let's get to it.

Evening all. Well, a few weeks have gone by without a proper update, so here we go.

The last few weeks have been... fine. My HS flareup from a few weeks ago decided to start sorting itself out on my last day off from work. Sods law, I guess. So I have been back to work for almost a fortnight, but yeah... can never get a good run with HS anymore, can I? Now i pretty much have flareups on all 4 limbs for the first time. I was at stage 2 HS at my last proper checkup a year back, but I am quite certain I'm at stage 3 now as this shit isn't stopping, and nothing seems to help. Luckily, even with all 4 limbs giving me grief at the moment, it is manageable. For now, at least.

In the meantime, I have been recording still but at a much less pace than usual, but I can only do what I can do for now. It's a good thing that I have the schedule that I have as it will not affect daily uploads. I got my first HS flareup at 15, and I started this channel at 17. The backlog was put there for this exact reason. If I am unable to record or not able to record as much as I would like due to things (like my chronic disease) then the backlog will be able to make sure that daily uploads for you all is still possible. Over 11 and a half years later. I was mocked for having such a big backlog years ago. Who's laughing now? Not me. I'd probably get a jolt of pain if I do at the moment.

So, onto those recordings. I have a fair few. Let's Plays close to completion at the moment. Just need to finish them off, and I hope to do that in the next few weeks if I can get a good run of having manageable pain.

Onto some nice news. The Let's Play I did about A Game About Digging A Hole seems to have done the job it was made for and got a few new eyes on the channel so welcome to the channel to all the new subscribers. Apologies to what would probably be a bombshell in the previous 2 paragraphs. I enjoyed playing the game for an hour and a half, but I would be lying if I said that i just found the game randomly and i wasn't jumping on the viral game train for the first time since Sonic Mania. Hey, I've only done it twice in over 14 years, so that's way better than most.

That also means we are now just 4 subscribers off 3,000 subscribers. We are so close at this point. Once we reach that, I will make the special video live. It involves cards, money and... yeah, that's about it, really. It's a game that I have been playing probably too much this year. But yeah. 4 subscribers away now. We're so close to the next milestone.

Anyway. Excuse me while I have my pint. Life's shit but I'm loving it!
