His Learning & Taught Ones

The mission of HTO Channel:

The HTO Channel is created to provide media and interactive instructional videos that help to establish the “Great Commission” found in Matthew 28:18-20,

18 Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually--regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

As a result, we believe that many will be equipped in spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ, impacting their immediate communities, and serving as agents of change.

🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽Hey all!! Just sharing my highlights from studying today... try to read Deuteronomy 11 over the weekend you will find some powerful truths in His Word!!

Highlights from Deuteronomy 11

Topical Bible: Obedience as an Expression of Love

You can read the entire article here:

biblehub.com/topical/o/obedience_as_an_expression_…

Last Updated on: 2025-03-28

Highlights & Notes:

- This concept is deeply rooted in the Scriptures, where love and obedience are intertwined, reflecting a relationship of trust, reverence, and commitment to God's will.

- The Old Testament lays the groundwork for understanding obedience as an expression of love. In Deuteronomy 6:5, the Israelites are commanded, "Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." This command is immediately followed by instructions to keep God's commandments, indicating that love for God is demonstrated through obedience to His laws.

- New Testament Teachings
In the New Testament, Jesus Christ reinforces the link between love and obedience. In John 14:15, Jesus states, "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." This declaration underscores that genuine love for Christ is manifested through obedience to His teachings. Similarly, in John 15:10, Jesus says, "If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love." Here, Jesus presents His own obedience to the Father as a model for believers, illustrating that love and obedience are reciprocal and sustaining.

- The Spirit empowers believers to live in obedience to God's will, transforming their hearts and aligning their desires with God's purposes.

- For the believer, obedience is both a response to God's love and a means of deepening one's relationship with Him. James 1:22 exhorts believers to be "doers of the word, and not hearers only," highlighting that true faith is active and obedient. Obedience is not merely a legalistic adherence to rules but a heartfelt response to God's grace and love.

- Conclusion
While a conclusion is not provided, the biblical narrative consistently presents obedience as an integral expression of love for God. Through the examples of faithful individuals and the teachings of Jesus and the apostles, Scripture reveals that love and obedience are inseparable, each reinforcing and sustaining the other in the believer's life.

His Learning & Taught Ones

Hello HTO family,

We pray that you have been blessed as you continue to study the Word of the Father, spend time, and fellowship with His spirit, and receive the ministry of His Word. In this third book of the Torah, we have been focusing on sacrifices. Although this is a practice that seems distant and far from our reality, we can continue to make the connection through our Lord and Savior - Jesus the Christ. As we read through Leviticus, we are able to appreciate His great sacrifice - how he came to the earth to give his life for many. Through Him, through His death, burial, and resurrection, we are reconciled to the Father and accepted into the Kingdom of Yah.

We may not understand the reasoning and the method for each sacrifice, but we do understand the method and the reasoning for His great sacrifice. Although the book of Leviticus is mainly a manual for the priesthood, every believer can meditate on this book and come to the reality of how much our Father truly loves us. We are ever so grateful, and appreciative, that we no longer have to provide sacrifices in this manner, but we still are aware that we offer our lives as living sacrifices, not to achieve eternal life, but in demonstration of our love for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As you continue to read, meditate, and study, may you come into a different level of appreciation, for all that He has done for every living being on the earth.

Our goal for the week:

Read through to Leviticus 14.

May you be blessed as you receive the Ministry of His Word.  May His Scriptures continually breathe new life in you.
