Hello everyone! As I'm making Sub-Zero's playthrough, I'm thinking of the next character I'm going to play in a playthrough. Who would you guys like to see next?
Even with the new GPU, Hourglass still doesn't work with Mugen set to OpenGL rendering. I'm thinking of TASing Mugen through LibTAS and a Linux VB, but after a quick search, you can't TAS Mugen through LibTAS as Mugen does not have a Linux release. LibTAS may work if I use Wine and TAS Mugen that way, but I'll have to think about maybe getting a new hard disk first.
So, if you want to try TASing Mugen, it's possible if you simply just use System or DirectX as your video renderer in the mugen.cfg file.
Edit: I just learned that Ikemen Go has a Linux release. Once I get that hard disk, I might be able to TAS with OpenGL as the renderer.
Hi! I'm currently trying to fully transition from Mugen 1.0 to Mugen 1.1 and continue doing TASes there. The problem that I have is that Hourglass cannot run when Mugen is running on OpenGL. It's not much of a problem because I can just have Mugen run on System, but does anyone know how to get it working?
So, I'm opening requests now for Mugen! My finals aren't over yet, but by the end of the week, I'm able to do some videos. As for the criteria for the request, it is as follows:
- No 2v2s, Arcade Mode, Survival mode, or Dual TAS - No cheap characters allowed (Includes Rare Akuma, Chuck Norris, etc.) on either player side. - Character must have at least one of the following (preferably if said character has it all): > Parry > Dodge > Just Defended > If I have played a character before that has none of the above, it gets a pass (Except KFM). - Provide a link for requested character and/or stage. - You cannot request to fight an enemy more than 2 times. - Requests are closed by the end of the week. (Will continue until the 23rd)
