COMMUNITY ALERT: ⚠️ A 28-year-old man has appeared at Bolton Crown Court ahead of a trial in the coming weeks over serious sexual offence allegations involving two girls under 16.

The alleged offences are said to have taken place at a flat in Middle Hulton in December last year. The defendant was arrested in the early hours of December 7 and has denied all charges.

Sultani Bakatash, 28, is accused of raping the two girls, both under 16 years old (14), at a flat in Middle Hulton in December last year.

At the latest hearing, the court dealt mainly with case preparation. It was noted that the defendant required a Dari interpreter and translated documents to follow proceedings, something the defence said was necessary given the seriousness of the case.

The judge confirmed that further hearings may take place if needed before trial, and the defendant remains in custody after no bail application was made.

The trial is expected to begin in June and could last around five days.

NOTE: I have had a nightmare getting this post to stick, also I noted how all other reports failed to mention key information. When searching for information via public records, I was booted out on five occasions, the 6th occasion I got the courts services to stick its page via hitting the X icon. Key info missing in news, on the actual documents are the ages... they are not just under 16, you horrible mainstream media... they are 14!

Reality check. We are not even close... About as near as reaching the end of the universe in a car.

What you’re talking to right now is not a mind. It doesn’t think, feel, want, or understand anything the way a human does. It’s pattern recognition at scale. It gives the appearance of intelligence because it’s trained on massive amounts of human language, not because it has awareness.

Sentience would mean something entirely different. It would mean actual experience. Self awareness. A sense of being. A continuous identity over time. None of that exists here.

There is no inner voice. No consciousness. No perspective... No “me” behind the responses.

And the biggest limitation is simple. There is no grounding in reality. No body. No real world experience. No instincts... No survival drive. Humans are shaped by all of that. AI isn’t.

Even if AI gets incredibly advanced, smarter than people in many areas, that still doesn’t mean it becomes conscious. Intelligence and awareness are not the same thing.

So when people talk about sentient AI like it’s just around the corner, they’re guessing... Nobody actually knows if it’s even possible, never mind when.

If you want a realistic time frame, you’re not looking at a few years. You’re looking at many decades, centuries even, at minimum... and that is being generous. It may never happen at all. We don’t even fully understand human consciousness yet, so the idea that we can just engineer it on demand is pure speculation...

Right now, this is a tool... A powerful one, but still just a tool. The real name is not sales and marketing worthy... The real name is 'Machine Learning'.

Critics on the right would argue this isn’t just about catching up... it’s about governments trying to steer and influence financial markets, picking winners and shaping the system to maintain control over currency in an increasingly decentralised world in which they do not have complete control over... simply put. 🙄

And it raises an obvious question...

COMMUNITY HISTORY: 📝 Socialists NEVER learn... The Romanian Revolution of December 1989 was the most violent and abrupt collapse of communism in Eastern Europe. Unlike the negotiated transitions seen elsewhere, Romania’s regime fell in a matter of days when the structures of control broke apart and turned against themselves.

Nicolae Ceaușescu had ruled since 1965, building a system based on strict surveillance, repression, and personal authority. By the late 1980s, the country was under severe strain. Food shortages, energy rationing, and widespread poverty had deepened public anger. The regime still appeared solid on the surface, but loyalty within its institutions was weakening.

The uprising began in the western city of Timișoara in mid December 1989. What started as a protest to defend a dissident pastor quickly expanded into a broader challenge to the regime. Security forces opened fire on demonstrators, killing civilians. Instead of crushing resistance, the violence intensified it. News of the killings spread, and protests began to appear in other cities.

On 21 December, Ceaușescu attempted to restore control with a mass rally in Bucharest. It was meant to demonstrate support, but it collapsed into chaos. The crowd began to jeer and shout, breaking the carefully staged image of unity. The moment was broadcast live, exposing the regime’s loss of authority.

The following day proved decisive. On 22 December, the Romanian army withdrew its support for Ceaușescu and refused to continue firing on civilians. Soldiers began to side with protesters, in some cases embracing them in the streets. Tanks that had been deployed to enforce control were no longer instruments of repression. This shift shattered the foundation of the dictatorship.

The security apparatus fractured. Units of the Securitate, the secret police, remained loyal and continued to fight. Clashes broke out between different armed groups, creating confusion and violence across the country. In the days that followed, hundreds were killed in chaotic exchanges of fire, often driven by misinformation and fear of unseen enemies.

Ceaușescu and his wife Elena attempted to escape Bucharest by helicopter on the same day the army defected. They were captured shortly afterward by military forces. A rapid military tribunal was convened, charging them with crimes including mass murder and abuse of power. On 25 December 1989, both were executed by firing squad... in public and paraded.

Their deaths marked the end of one of the most rigid regimes in Eastern Europe. More than a thousand people died during the uprising, many after the regime had already begun to collapse.

What defined the Romanian Revolution was the sudden reversal of power. Police and military forces, long used to enforce obedience, stopped carrying out orders and instead aligned with the population. Once that shift occurred, the regime could no longer sustain itself. The fall of Ceaușescu was not negotiated or gradual. It was the result of a system that lost the will and the ability to defend its own authority, and collapsed in the space of a few days.

FFS it is not rocket science... we the people should be up in arms over this. The bozos work for us... Don't forget to invoice your Mixed Recycling at 14p per kilo to the Council... Enough of their free ride and slave employment...

This isn’t just about Bolton either... Across the UK, the number of council staff earning more than £100k has hit record levels, while many local authorities continue to say they’re struggling financially... how about your town or city? I mean London and the South of England, those wages double almost, with extras... and trimmings... and envelopes...

For the skeptical and the average right wing thug "them lot" types... it highlights what they see as a growing disconnect between decision-makers and the people footing the bill... When bins aren’t collected on time, roads need fixing and services are being cut back, it’s fair to ask whether taxpayers are really getting value for money... No is the bare fact of the matter...

Of course, Labour and Socialist defenders will say these are complex roles with big responsibilities and that high salaries are needed to attract experienced leaders. But many would argue that public service should be about just that service, not six-figure pay packets funded by local residents... Disgusting IMO!

In Bolton... the figure of twelve top earners puts the spotlight firmly on how public money is being spent and whether priorities are in the right place...
