Genuinely some people are so dense because what do you mean you don’t understand the concept of ethnic diversity????? ESPECIALLY in Asia because we all know how diverse it is.
Alllll over asia the diversity of skin tones are VAST. From dark to white, olive, tan and so much more because of ethnic diversity. In Lebanon for example yes most of us are olive or light skinned but there’s tanned people too and that’s for SO MUCH of this continent. I’ve seen people say that someone is too white to be an Arab which is INSANE because white skin is VERY common in west Asia??? Idk man.

People have that assumption a lot for India too like yes most have brown skin tone but yall India is EXTREMELY ethnically diverse

Bonus: people on the internet have said “middle easterners” and sometimes South Asians aren’t “Asian” enough like wtf do you mean by that. Say your racist without saying your racist

Hot? Take: lying to get into a spot for tourism isn’t right.

I saw a video of a man wanting to visit a mosque as a tourist but was stopped by the guard because the mosque was closing for muslims to pray their prayer and the man lies and tells the guard he is Muslim so he can go in.

This is so genuinely rude. There is a reason they weren’t allowing you to enter so you lie?

The mosque was most likely a common tourist location that’s why it closes at certain times for muslims to pray.

And this is probably not the only thing that happens but so many times I’ve seen people lie about being from a certain religion and it annoys me.



Bonus: I have just found out that yogurt isn’t savory in alot a western cultures and I’m baffled
