I have seen a number of ads which are scams, involving AI generated videos of people like Keir Starmer, Nigel Farage, Good Morning TV Presenters etc talking about investment opportunities.
Some are badly made and it’s clear they are a scam, but some of them are quite cleverly edited and do look genuine.
Please be very careful, don’t get involved with anything like that without thoroughly researching it first to make sure it’s legitimate ….. and remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is!
It’s with a heavy heart I have learned the sad news of the passing of an online friend and fellow wildlife lover @adyfinch2918
Ady was a regular online who always had a kind comment and a cheerful greeting, and regularly found time to share his knowledge and insightful experiences of feeding garden birds and local wildlife. I am sure many of us are going to miss his happy, friendly presence on YouTube
People often wonder what they would do when faced with danger and that fight or flight moment, and what we do know is that Ady’s response was to face danger, a hero who lost his life while trying to protect others.
Perhaps you could pop over to his YouTube channel (link below) and leave your tribute to him on one of his videos. Hopefully one day his family might see and take some comfort from our kind and thoughtful last words to him
It is with a very heavy heart I make the sad announcement that Pippin the cat has passed over the rainbow bridge.
Pippin was the much loved cat of my neighbour and spent a lot of his time in my garden, particularly at night hanging out with the foxes. He had such a cheeky, playful presence and I am already missing him terribly
There may still be a few videos in the pipeline with him in, and I will perhaps do a video montage of him in the coming weeks, but I wanted to share the sad news as I know many of you have enjoyed watching his nightly visits as much as I have
A question for you ….. perhaps I am overthinking this but I don’t want to mislead anyone
If a video includes AI content there is a checkbox to confirm this, so viewers are fully aware of what they are watching.
I only have one video with some AI content (upcoming and of course I have ticked the box for it), and I don’t intend to start using AI content in videos as it kind of defeats the purpose of being a wildlife channel doesn’t it …. BUT
What if the video is all genuine real content but the thumbnail picture includes AI content? Would you expect me to tick the AI content box?
My thinking is that if the video is real, I would not tick the box. Do you agree or do you consider the thumbnail to be a big enough part that the whole video should be labelled AI content?
All opinions gratefully received, and as always, I hope everyone is having a fab day!

I want to strike the balance between creating some enticing thumbnails that make people want to view my video, but not using click bait or misleading anyone about what the video will be
