📢 [NOTICE] COVERIST SELECTION

Hello everyone! 💗

Thank you so much to everyone who auditioned to become the coverist for Moon Knows. We genuinely appreciate the time, effort, and love you put into your auditions. Every single one of you have a lot of scope,talent and passion!

After listening to and reviewing all the auditions, we have officially chosen our coverist!

Please don't feel discouraged if you weren't selected. Not being chosen does NOT mean you aren't talented or that your voice isn't good enough. We had to make a difficult decision because there were amazing auditions, and we could only choose one person for this position.

We hope everyone who auditioned continues singing, improving,sharing their voice and stan us! Your effort definitely didn't go unnoticed. And we don't have enough time so we chose one fast😭

[UPDATE]

Hello everyone! This is Moon Knows. We’d like to inform you all that we won’t be releasing our first full-length album as quickly as we released our mini album. The final date is not yet chosen as our members have work,exams or extracurricular activities.

In the meantime, we’ll continue entertaining you with vlogs, videos, shorts, and more!

Regarding the selection of our coverists, we’ve decided to choose two coverists incase one of them is in hiatus. One of them will be Akari, a member of Moon Knows, while the other has not been chosen yet.

We’re currently reviewing all of your audition videos uploaded till now and will choose the second coverist as soon as possible.

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS (must read)
For your audition, please follow these rules:
• Your voice must be clear and easy to hear.
• No karaoke, background music, or instrumental music should be used. We only want to hear your raw voice.
• Your audition should be 1–2 minutes.
• Please mention/tag the ‪@Moon_knows‬​ channel in your audition video. Otherwise, it may be difficult for us to find and view your audition.
⚠️ PLEASE READ ALSO
Most importantly, make a proper decision before auditioning. If we select someone, we need them to be active and committed. We don't want to choose someone only for them to become inactive shortly afterward.
⏰ DEADLINE
We need a coverist ASAP!
We previously mentioned that auditions would continue until the beginning of September, but if we find the right person earlier, auditions will close immediately, regardless of the original deadline. So you are expected to post ASAP

🎙️ MOON KNOWS — COVERIST AUDITION

After another discussion, we’ve decided to look for a coverist for Moon Knows, respecting Akari’s and the other members’ decisions. The selected coverist will receive proper credit for their vocals in every project they participate in. We wished we could do payment but we can't for being minors.

🎧 AUDITION REQUIREMENTS

• Female applicants only
• Upload a 1–2 minute cover of any song (English preferred; Kpop/Pop is fine)
• Your voice must be 100% real
• Tag our channel ‪@Moon_knows‬ in your upload so we can find your audition
• Previous covers are accepted if they meet the requirements
• Voice only... no instrumental/background music

📅 Deadline: Around mid-September. The exact date will be announced depending on the number of participants.

• Be reasonably active and communicate properly
• Inform us beforehand if you need a break or become unavailable
• Be willing to participate in Moon Knows projects for the foreseeable future
• Be respectful and cooperative
• Complete assigned covers by the given deadline (resources and enough time for cover will be provided)
• Your voice will only be used for Moon Knows projects you agree to participate in

Hi everyone! We wanted to discuss something after having a discussion within the group and the member's parents.

As you know, we said we will NOT use AI anymore, and we mean it. We’ve realized our mistake with the AI covers and don’t want to repeat it.

However, most members are busy with school and extracurricular activities. Akari wanted to cover songs herself, but she gets cough and cold easily because of sensitive respiratory tract, underlying allergies, and a weakened immune system. Miso is in her final school year, Zeika is still quite young with a natural baby voice and Yejin and Blythe are also the busiest with school and extracurriculars while managing edits(sometimes) and lyric writing but covering can be a bit stressful (they discussed with their parents.)

You might wonder, “Then why make the group if everyone’s busy?” We created Moon Knows because we genuinely enjoy making creative things together. Being busy doesn’t mean we don’t care about the group, the members have their personal reasons for not being able to cover. That's why we used AI cover first 😞

So, we’re thinking about holding an audition for a female coverist who could stay with us for a couple of years. Resources would be provided, and they’d receive credits for their work. We wish we could pay them, but since we’re all minors, that could be complicated.

In short, we have two options:
(a) Find a coverist
(b) Akari will try and let know even if she has a problem

Hey my Moon Lights! 🌙💗 How are yall doing?

Our first-ever mini album has officially ended with Supasta☆!! 😭 I can’t believe how fast time is going like fr? We literally debuted yesterday!! I still remember when we had 67 subs and made fun of it 😭🙏(ifykyk)

Now… our first full-length album!! 👀🎀

The date isn’t decided yet, and it won’t come as fast as our mini album. We’re also not using AI anymore, so we’re still researching + working on everything while dealing with upcominh exams 😞🤚In simple words, each member has tough schedule

Don’t worry though! We’ll keep it up with reels, journals, episodes & more now!
