In June this year I had the huge privilege of being a featured artist performing in the end show on the main stage of the Defqon 1 festival as part of a special 5 hour show to celebrate 25 years of Hardstyle, and all the legends of this genre! I got to perform 'Rescue Me' with ‪@OfficialSoundRush‬ who are honestly two of the loveliest guys you could ever meet, and it was such an incredible and emotional experience which I'll never forget ❤️!

It was shot by Benjamin Ealovega in the Evolutionary Arts Theatre in Hackney, London, with lighting design by Louie Hassett, and my gorgeous dress was custom made for me by Chotronette and my hair and makeup was beautifully done by Ellie Murphy. My new single, 'LIKE THE OLD TIMES' is out now 🥹🥳!

LIKE THE OLD TIMES is the third of 9 singles from my forthcoming fifth album. Of all the songs on this new album, this one is the most classical in all respects; its composition, its orchestration, and my vocal performance, so it's completely different to the rock / pop vibe of the first two singles I released! It was also recorded with a string orchestra of 36 players, so I've gone all out to ensure that I created the highest possible quality recording.

Developed from a demo I recorded on the piano in my late twenties, I carried the seed of this song with me ever since, until Ryan Louder and I finally took it and completed it for this album. The theme of the song is about reminiscing on my youth and the sense of pure, naive hope I had for my future back then, and now that I'm an adult, wishing that I could recapture that feeling "once again", so it's an extremely emotional, nostalgic and sad song 🥹...

I think those of you who prefer my older songs, especially those on my debut album, Arcadia, will probably enjoy this one. It's a little like my song, Hate Me, but more classical, and more dramatic!...
