Portland, Stand Up For Yourself, Please
I was born and raised in the Portland area.
It used to be beautiful, but the decay that started with “Keep Portland Weird” has turned into just stupid.
Portland is a joke to much of the nation.
Once recognized for its scenery, food, and location, it is now famous for riots, ignorance, wokeness, and a place business does not want to be located.
The past governor was the least popular in the country.
The current is at number 48.
Their education numbers don’t add up.
They spend more per student than most places and rank at about number 48, depending on which study you look at.
The current governor and her Democrat legislature pushed a 4.3 billion dollar tax on the citizens of the state, and Oregonians got pissed.
She dragged her feet, signing the “emergency measure” in a show of “democracy” to try to stop citizens from voting on the plan.
In just two weeks, Oregonians came out of the woodwork to get twice the number of signatures needed to put the plan on the ballot.
And they are still collecting tens of thousands of signatures.
Now she’s picking a fight with the President, threatening to arrest federal agents who try to abide by immigration laws.
Tiny Tina needs a quick education in how things work.
This lawless governor professes the “No Kings” movement but seems to have no problem with her role as the self-proclaimed queen of Oregon.
I see Portland has slipped off the face of the planet again, this time by allowing a holiday tree celebration to turn into a radical pro-Islam celebration.
People are mad.
If they don’t want to call the tree a “Christmas Tree,” that’s not the end of the world.
I’m not sure a “tree” is really symbolic of the birth of Jesus Christ.
But do you have to take a celebration that means a lot to Christians and turn it away from Christ and towards Islam?
That’s not just unkind and arrogant, it’s stupid.
The good news in all of this is, as the nuts did with COVID and their left-wing ideology, they’re pushing too far.
People are full.
It’s like eating too much and then being force-fed more of their garbage.
The barfing is beginning.
The problem is, has Oregon reached bottom?
Unfortunately, I doubt it.
Next Fall, will voters see the error of their ways and stop voting for what sounds “weird” and discover common sense?
It will all depend on how this jumbled mess impacts their pocketbook.
The frustration, at some point, will force eyes wide open.
Hopefully, by that time it won’t be too late.

That’s Not My Burden
How often do we pick up burdens that do not belong to us?
I read a story in a book called “Streams In The Desert” that I will paraphrase for you that explains my thought.
A woman had a dream that she and others around her were walking the streets, sad, burdened, and tired.
These little demons were walking ahead of them, dropping little black bundles for them to pick up.
And pick up they did, because it seemed the right thing to do.
Another man was walking amongst them, comforting people.
He told the woman, These are not your burdens, do not entertain them or touch them, let them be.
These are the devil’s burdens, and they are weighing you down.
When she made that decision and refused to take on the burdens offered to her, her life was filled with peace.
Doesn’t that sound good right now?
Our minds are powerful tools for both good and evil.
The enemy of our souls knows exactly how to ensnare us in a trap by distracting us with burdens we have no business touching.

We each have a choice.
We’ve seen what happens when people, out of ease and fear of questioning, pick up the burdens that do not belong to them.
A friend once told me, “If something robs you of your peace, don’t do it.”
That doesn’t mean we don’t do uncomfortable things.
It doesn’t mean we stand on the sidelines and watch others do all the work.
It simply means, understand which burdens are given to us by our maker and which are given to us by a world intent on ripping us apart.
The only way to do that is to nuzzle up to God each day so He can point out the distractions.

We The People Are Fed Up
Sitting in a little bar, waiting for our pizza to cook, I stare outside at snow piling up on the streets, and think about the world we live in.
Red Lodge, Montana, is about as far away from politics as one can be.
Republicans, Democrats, Independents, and non-affiliated voters are fed up.
We are not hardline party players, but get forced into boxes by folks who wish to discredit us for simply wanting the leaders in our country to put Americans first.
We are tired of our hardworking tax dollars being given to other countries to bribe, hold up, protect, or whatever you want to call it.
Let them deal with their issues while we spend our money solving the problems in our country.
Call it what you want, Nationalism, America First, we don’t care, just do it.
We are sick of people coming to OUR country and asking us to change rather than them, doing what we do when we move to a new state or visit a foreign country, which is to assimilate.
We are not racists or homophobes or any of the other phobes opponents try to paint us into being.
Your terms mean nothing because you’ve lied about them so much that we don’t care.
We are Americans who love our country and want our kids to be taken care of before we go giving money towards projects around the world that are little more than a political bribe.
Our young men and women are not able to buy a home until age 40, that’s the average now, and they are mad as hell.
The American ideal is that we leave our kids in a better America than we had; we are failing.
We have a hopeless generation.
Think about that!
They are the first generation that will do worse than the previous, and yet, we keep throwing tax dollars at regimes around the world rather than finding ways to use that money to make homeowners out of our kids.
Shame on us.
What some fail to understand is that America is ready for a revolution.
Not some socialist takeover, although we’d better pay attention because the liars pushing that message will gain traction if we don’t find a way to answer with truth.
When you and I grew up, we had hard times, but we knew if we held on, better times would follow.
That’s not a guarantee anymore.
It’s not even likely.
Yet here are trillions of tax dollars, coming from you and me, that are being wasted overseas and right here in our home states on failed ideologies, war mongers, and politicians trying to leave a legacy to their bronze bust, rather than to our kids’ futures.
We the People are waking up.
We will not let the opponents of America bury our ideas or smother our cries for change any longer.
If you come here, do it legally.
If you stay, assimilate.
To our leaders, we are watching you.
It’s our money, and you work for us, act like it.
And for those who try to silence us with manipulation and name-calling, shut up.
Your plans are unraveling.
You know it, and so do we.
We The People are Fed Up.

The World Is So Out Of Touch
Kathy and I don’t watch television very much.
Our son Jess is with us, and he does.
He clicked on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and our eyes were opened.
As a guy who used to be on television, I was a bit embarrassed.
I think in many ways, I looked as phony as they looked on the broadcast.
Phony and so out of touch with where Americans are today.
I remember when the parade was simply that, a parade.
Now it’s a production of Broadway shows and promotion for the new lineup of NBC, the network televising the parade.
From a log house in Montana, we watched, and I couldn’t help but wonder who relates to this stuff?
The fancy fingernails, fake eyelashes, men with sixpacks selling ED medication, and trainers just waiting to give you the information needed to look like the guy in the picture with the perfect life.
I think about ranchers, farmers, and a young woman working at the bar in Lyons, Oregon. Is this what they care about?
It’s a plastic representation of the world that only exists in the hearts and minds of marketers.
The blown-out-of-proportion success stories that seem too good to be true fall flat on an audience that has real problems just putting food on the table and paying the rent.
A major cultural shift is underway in America.
People are looking for the truth.
They don’t want pretty stories to make them feel good; they want reality.
The plastic make-believe world is everywhere.
But so is the rejection of it.
It’s not something to be angry about.
Awareness is the beginning of change.
With Christmas just around the corner, the temptation to “buy” happiness is over the top.
Perhaps instead of buying a gift, give that special person in your life an experience, something they will never forget.
Buy memories, not more stuff.
The world is so out of touch with where you and I are right now.
But we don’t have to be.

Perhaps We Create Our Limitations!
The world is a complex and divisive place.
You can no longer refuse to pay attention, or you risk being washed out to sea.
The power struggle appears to be between the left and the right.
Don’t be fooled, it’s much deeper and darker than that.
This morning, I read this line that won’t stop circulating inside my head.
“He will do just as much for us as we let Him do in us.”
Think about that?
We are His creation.
He knows the plans He has for us.
He’s in the process of working those plans out for us.
The only limitation is based on us.
We are born with a heart, and that heart has a hole designed in it that is meant to be filled by God.
Life steps on us, people do bad things to us, and we start to fill that hole with something other than Him.
We find ways to numb our pain, pleasures that provide temporary solace, but that hole has a purpose, and all the garbage we allow to fill it, at some point, must be cleared so God can inhabit our lives.
God is the ultimate heart surgeon.
He understands what’s clogging our arteries and, over a lifetime, points them out, guides us to healing, and makes us into the men and women we are designed to be.
Each of us is uniquely qualified for so much more than we settle for.
Back to that hole in our heart.
The more debris we allow Him to take out of our hearts, the more He can do in us, with us, and for us.
It’s a partnership.
God cannot partner with sin.
Sin is what is usually substituted as our heart filler.
It has to come out, or He won’t come in.
The greatest men and women who ever lived were those willing to give God every corner of their heart so that He could fill it with Himself.
We are seeing a bright light shine on the earth, and that is because light always shines in the darkest places.
The world we live in is a dark and challenging place.
But remember, God knew this day would come.
We were each created to live in this moment.
If you look in the news, those under attack are the most willing to give it all.
The masses will try to preserve what was and fail.
Do not follow their folly.
It’s tempting and promises unity and prosperity, but it’s a lie.
Our search is for the truth, a truth that sets us free and cleans out our hearts so the Father can abide with us.
How much are we willing to give?
Tonight at 4 pm PT, we will be joined by the chief petitioners of an initiative to put the gas tax in Oregon on the ballot. They hope to have a tally of how many signatures they have.
Tune in for a live update on any of our social media channels.

Nuremberg Style Trial For COVID?
I think we need a Nuremberg-style trial to unveil all the lies told by those who propagated the COVID-19 virus.
I got this idea while watching the new film “Nuremberg.”
The movie is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time.
The acting is amazing, the story, well told, and the timeliness is undeniable.
As we sat in the Myrna Loy Arts Theater in Helena, Montana, you could hear a pin drop as the intensity of the story unfolded.
One man, a justice, thinks rather than simply hang the top members of the NAZI party following Hitler’s suicide, there should be a worldwide trial to expose the atrocities, led by these men.
That justice was on the fast track to be seated on the Supreme Court of the United States.
His insistence on creating this trial destroyed that life dream.
A trial for crimes against humanity had never been done before.
When we left the theater, I said to Kathy, “ There needs to be a Nuremberg-style trial for the top people involved in the COVID fiasco.”
What was done to the world, to millions of people who died, and those suffering with the effects of long-term COVID and the vaccine, needs to be exposed to the world.
What these “leaders” did to our kids, did to our sanity, did to our way of life, must be pointed out.
All of them need to be called out, or it will happen again.
The movie shows how people ignored what happened to millions of Jewish people, artists, resisters, and folks who spoke out against Hitler, because it didn’t involve them.
When the war was over, politicians and the like didn’t want a trial because they just wanted it to be over.
I also think people didn’t want to expose their own dark hearts and calloused attitudes towards their fellow human beings.
Others were just embarrassed by their ignorance or refusal to look into it.
I get a lot of flak from folks who believe almost everything they hear about COVID.
The same people who scorned us for not wearing masks and not getting the vaccine refuse to do the research, listen to the evidence, and admit the way it was handled was wrong.
What was done to our world was criminal, to say the least.
I know some in powerful positions agree with me that if we don’t expose the perpetrators, the evil that consumes them will fester and come back in a new form.
I hear people say, “Just leave it alone and move on.”
The result is a mental illness so powerful that no one trusts anyone, right becomes wrong, and wrong becomes right.
Oh, wait, we’re already there.
But it’s not too late.
A worldwide trial could bring justice for all.
Thoughts?

Growing In Hard Places
On a recent hike, I noticed these trees growing out of the rocks.
There appeared to be little or no soil at the roots, yet these trees still thrived and stood tall.
If we were planting a tree, there is no way we’d try to get the seeds to sprout in cracks formed in solid rock.
Most wouldn’t survive.
But God gives some of His creations difficult starting places, not because He is cruel, but because He knows what each soul needs to realize its value.
I read this morning: “The tests of life are meant to make us, not break us. Trouble may demolish a man’s business, but build up his character.“ Mabtbie Babcock
Grow where God plants you. Don’t compare your soil to the starting place of others.
Our foundation is what is important.
The more solid, the more you can take.
There are many planted in fertile soil where the wind rarely blows and the cold rarely comes.
Where much is required, much is received.
Your fall begins when you start to compare.
Have a great Sunday.

Why All The Resistance To More Vaccine Research
For anyone who has had a family member or friend who struggles with autism, it’s hard for us to understand the resistance society seems to have to making sure there is no link between vaccines and the condition.
People cite study after study, but don’t look at who did the study, how the study was done, and most importantly, who funded it.
In California, one in eight boys will be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
Nationwide, the numbers have also skyrocketed.
Back when you and I were kids, the statistics show very few cases.
And it’s not that awareness is up; the number of cases is what’s up.
U.S. Secretary of Health Robert Kennedy expresses deep skepticism about the current state of vaccine studies, arguing they are inadequate and often conflicted by industry ties.
Kennedy also cites Placebo-controlled trials: Kennedy advocates for the use of inert placebo-controlled trials for all new vaccines, a significant departure from current practices, where new vaccines are often tested against existing, approved vaccines (as withholding a known effective vaccine for a deadly disease is considered unethical). He has stated that "placebo-controlled trials are gold-standard science" and believes that without them, the risk profiles of childhood vaccines are largely unknown.
How did the vaccine program become such a sacred cow for so many?
Why is the vaccine program immune to questioning?
It’s untouchable and sacred to promoters, but when you start looking at what is being pumped into our children’s veins, wouldn’t more testing, to be sure vaccines are safe, sound prudent?
Kennedy argues that there’s a conflict of interest with the medical experts who have historically advised the government on vaccine policy, such as the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), who have conflicts of interest due to financial ties to pharmaceutical companies
HELLO, does that not raise a red flag for you?
If we discovered the sugar in gummy bears or the red dye in Fruit Loops cereal might be causing something as devastating as autism, would we as a country be screaming for more studies?
If there were evidence that gas-powered vehicles or carbon could be linked to autism, there would be no studies.
You’d see legislation forced on the population and regulations imposed immediately.
But somehow, the vaccine is sacred to those who have never had a child or relative changed by autism.
You haven’t had someone you love, normal one day and the next, forever changed.
This is not about whether vaccines are good or bad.
More studies do not tell you that you are doing the wrong thing or that those of us who question vaccines are right.
This is to do the best studies we can, without the ties to the vaccine makers, so we can “DETERMINE” whether vaccines play or role, or not.
No one’s taking away your choice, but quit taking away ours as you refuse to even consider, vaccines might be part of what’s destroying so many lives.

We Won’t Go Back, Ever.
Something amazing is happening to the culture in America.
While one ideology goes deeper into the rabbit hole of socialism, the other is waking up to fight so that their voice is heard and America is restored.
Good and evil make lousy partners.
Cries for unity are just smoke and mirrors.
What the manipulators of the narrative want is for you and me to shut up, sit down, and go back to the land of apathy.
It ain’t gonna happen.
You fired us up.
Where was all the talk of unity during the last administration?
Exactly, you were in the driver’s seat and took us on a detour and dozens of wrong turns.
It’s time you pull over, get into the backseat, and hand us the wheel.
In Oregon, people from the left, right, and middle are lining up in big cities and small towns to give the middle finger to the governor and her super majority of Democratic lawmakers, who passed a $4.3 billion tax, which voters clearly said they didn’t support.
They asked to vote on it, but left-wing lawmakers had their fingers in their ears, refusing to listen to the will of the people.
Now those voters are gathering signatures so that democracy has its say, as they will get to vote on the idea.
In the small school district of Rogue River, a couple of moms found out one of the teachers was showing a video that included a cartoon rape scene to their 13-year-olds.
Their kids came home shocked.
The moms, and now others in the community, are mad as Hell and making a huge stink about it.
In the Bethel School District, questions are raised over a “Rainbow Club” designed for students with gender issues.
It’s not just parents asking for answers; we’re getting emails and texts from teachers and even some administrators who say something is up and the public needs to know.
We’ve put in a request and are waiting.
I remember when COVID was at its height, people like you and me were so frustrated because we couldn’t ask hard questions without being canceled.
I would ask God, “What is this all about?”
Now, I understand.
They pushed too hard, too long, and too much.
Instead of going along, they made us so angry that we fought back and continued to push them for answers.
Pandora’s Box is open.
All these people lining up to fight illegal immigration, more taxes, and degradation of our schools are in some way connected to the far left’s push for power.
We are awake and taking action.
We Won’t Go Back…..Ever.
