🧡 At UCalgary, we honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Orange Shirt Day, as a time to learn, reflect, and grow together. It’s part of our commitment to creating a campus where Indigenous ways of knowing and diverse perspectives are valued, and where reconciliation is woven into how we learn and engage every day.

Future students, wherever you are, this is your invitation to learn and listen. Explore programs, events, and initiatives in your community that deepen your understanding of Indigenous cultures and knowledge systems. Whether through local or virtual workshops, cultural centres, school programming, or simply hearing directly from Indigenous students about their experiences, every opportunity to learn is a step toward meaningful reconciliation—even before you apply or arrive on campus.

🎙️ Want to hear directly from UCalgary students about Indigenous voices and perspectives on campus? Check out episodes of the Choose UCalgary Podcast, including:
🧡 Finding Your Path: Neuroscience, Community & Indigenous Perspectives in Science
🧡 Learning Beyond the Classroom: Indigenous Education, Research & Community
