We’re reviving a 1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone that’s been off the road for nearly 10 years, and the first order of business was fixing the brakes.
This time, we installed a factory-style front disc brake conversion that keeps the original 14-inch wheels—no modern rims, no hacked-up look. Even better? It might be the simplest disc brake swap we’ve ever done.
