Hi everyone! As you may or may not know, the software we've used to create our series for nearly 15 years, Adobe Animate, was announced to be "discontinued" a couple of days ago. In this case, "discontinued" meant removing all access to this software, and recommending their AI-driven tool called "Adobe Express" as a replacement. This would not just impact us - many creators in the OSC, indie animation community, and industry professionals rely on this software every day as their livelihood.

After an absolutely MASSIVE response to this decision, from creators and companies around the world, Adobe has changed their position. Adobe Animate is now in "maintenance mode," meaning it will continue to be accessible and available, but it won't be receiving any new features. In reality, the software hasn't received a major update in many years. Obviously this is a much better outcome, but it's definitely a wake-up call that subscription-based software can be taken away at any moment. Very scary.

UPDATE ON ASK ADAM LIVESTREAM: Stream is now at 5pm PT! Literally 5 minutes before we were slated to go live, our entire area received an internet outage due to the rainstorm.

The internet company let us know it would likely take 2-3 hours to resolve, so we're scheduling for 5pm. HORRIBLE TIMING! But glad it at least didn't happen mid-stream. Hoping we're good to go at 5pm! Thanks y'all. ~Adam
