The internet issues are resolved!! I am in the process of uploading the PS4 Modding Prep video now; which is an initial teaser for my PS4 modding series. I am still in the production process for the modding videos themselves, but you can expect the first episodes to start dropping soon, so stay tuned! 😎👍
A quick heads up for everyone: I am currently stuck on cellular internet from my phone, so uploading videos is a bit difficult at the moment due to data limitations (unlimited doesn't actually mean unlimited :/ ). I just finished producing the first of my PS4 modding videos, which is just a quick overview of the future videos that are planned and will begin production shortly. Usually, I upload a 1080p version to TikTok and a 4K version to YouTube. I really don't want to compromise on the YouTube version, the problem is the size of the videos will eat up the data I have left if I immediately upload them to YouTube in 4K. So here's my game plan: I'm expecting a cellular router to come in and 'hopefully' solve the internet woes I'm currently facing, this should be in less than a week. At that time I'm going to upload the 4K versions of the video to YouTube. In the meantime, I'm going to upload the 1080p versions to TikTok and hold off on the YouTube uploads. Given the fact that TikTok is about to be banned in the US in a few weeks, I really want to make sure I get these videos out sooner rather than later, that way I can recuperate some losses on purchasing these systems. I also want to make sure the best viewing experience for my YouTube audience, which is why I'm going to delay it until I can upload the definitive version. Sorry for these weird complications, won't be an issue after I get the internet sorted 🙏
Also; you'll notice change of scenery in future videos... Hence the internet issues lol

So I wanted to run one more test with Vanilla-Conquer; would a 3DS be able to run it? RA1 included? And how is the performance? The dev that made this port didn't include any information regarding the 3DS, so it left me extremely curious. Well after getting an 'Old' 3DS XL out and running a quick test through TwilightMenu, I can confirm that not only do the games launch in DSi mode, but RA1 works great! Additionally; this is the best experience out of all of the DS models I've tested. Performance is greatly improved and load times are greatly decreased, especially when initially loading the game. So while I would still highly recommend playing this on whatever DS system you have, if you have the option to play it on the 3DS it's definitely the way to go!
With all of that said, I'm strongly considering making a follow-up video with this running on the 3DS, do you folks want to see that?
YouTube increased the Short video length to a maximum of 3 minutes... which messed up how thumbnails work on videos shorter than 3 minutes 😐In short (haaaa); you get a randomly generated thumbnail from a section of your video, you cant change it after upload, nor select your own that you've created externally. I'm not going to make thumbnails for videos that fall under the Shorts category going forward, as they end up not being usable once the video is live on YouTube. Its not great, even TikTok has a great system for selecting the thumbnail to be used, YouTube just hasn't caught up yet. Once they fix this issue, I'll be sure to go back and add better thumbnails!
