Let's get it 2024!

Well, what's left of the year at least...

I thought it was time to do my yearly rebranding by now considering that I finally got Spotify back up. I'm still not sure when my next proper release will be though as I'm rethinking how to put together the videos and covers for releases. Still got more tracks on the way though!

In other news, volume 6 of The Remixes has finally been compiled into a proper album which you can now find on streaming services!

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!

After a few months being unable to do anything about it, Catorstrax is FINALLY back on Spotify and other streaming services. Every song from the past six years that was seemingly wiped from there is now back up for you all to listen to.

I'm currently sitting at 2 monthly listeners at the moment so I'm hoping that bumps up to something a little more reminiscent of what it was previously like. Hi!
I've had lots of stuff going on during the new year and haven't been able to do as much releasing and admin work as I hoped. Currently, I'm probably going to need some more time to release Vol. 6 of the remixes and do my 2024 rebranding as I have to do a lot of setting up for things (which happens to involve renewing my Adobe subscription). Nevertheless, I hope you're all excited for what's to come in 2024!

Wow, I've gotta make more music...

I'm hoping nobody's lost interest in my stuff during my absence. I hope to get releases back on track in the coming month while not rushing anything. I intend to release at least more than what I released last year by the end of this year.

Just wanted to drop this Spotify screenshot. This is awesome!

No new release tonight unfortunately since I wanna put in some more time to work on and perfect some new tracks I'm releasing, including a new remix album...

Not releasing anything new at the moment though isn't too big of a concern for me because, in half a year, I've released almost as many tracks as I did for all of last year which is pretty awesome! And it's your support I have to thank for that!

I've got a new remix coming out in a few hours, it's one of the remixes that was a part of both the Zelda mix I released on my channel last week as well as the Zelda Powermix on the Pokemon Megamix channel (which I'll link bellow in case you haven't watched yet)!

However, I wanted to take this moment to bring up something I completely forgot about amongst all the awesome stuff that has gone on this year for the channel.

Basically, May 15 marked five years since I rebranded and converted this YouTube channel to Catorstrax. And something I really need to reiterate is that while I do this all simply as a hobby, without all of your support and kind words over the years I don't think I would be doing as much as I am now. And I also need to give a shoutout to AlmightyArceus and the Pokemon Megamix community as you've all been so amazing and created a community that is honestly one of the greatest places on the internet! I don't know what this channel would look like if I hadn't submitted my Cinnabar Island remix to the Summer Megamix five years ago!

So pretty much, I just wanted to say thank you!!!

Hey everyone! So I've been thinking about this for a little while and wanted to get all of your thoughts on it...

Basically, with Tears of the Kingdom coming out in a week, I've really wanted to show my hype for the game and am thinking of releasing a mix compiling ALL of my Zelda remixes into one video for you all to listen to so you can get into the mood for the game or just have something more continuous to listen to during the day.

This mix would include all of my past Zelda remixes in a random order as well as one or two unreleased remixes from the upcoming Zelda Powermix on the Pokemon Megamix channel. However, I wanna hear your thoughts as this is something I don't usually do. If any of you have any thoughts regarding if I should do it or not, what order they should be in, or things like if I should just minimise it to my more chill remixes, let me know!

Thanks so much for the support on my Cinnabar Island remix and my Overworld remix, it means the world to me!

In other news though, the 2023 Nintendo Lofi Megamix is finally out and I have to tell you all... it's amazing, I'd highly recommend giving it a listen if you haven't yet! 

But also, my Overworld remix I just released is one of three tracks of mine that are a part of it. So if you want to listen to the other two early, I'd head on over to it. I will be releasing my Area Zero remix from the megamix tomorrow though so it's up to you I guess!
