Son of Herodotus
Since the time of Herodotus, "The Father of History", countless historians, scholars, and enthusiasts have carried on his method of storytelling about days-gone-by, while, at the same time, enrich these stories with a unique spin to them.
As a big fan of history, I too am following in Herodotus' footsteps by sharing many historical tales that many people would like - or at least curious - to know about. Plus this is the perfect opportunity to share my interest for history with all of you! It will be a slow process, yes, but once I post them - under the banner of Historia Films - I hope many of us can learn something from these videos. I also specialize in book narrations because I'm very fond of telling stories just as Herodotus did all those years ago.
If there are any historical stories you want me to cover, or if there are any novels you like me to narrate, please let me know in the comment section and I'll see what I can do.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the release of The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies!! Although the film - and the Hobbit trilogy in general - didn’t have the same impact as the Lord of the Rings trilogy delivered us over 20 years ago, Five Armies was nonetheless an epic conclusion for Bilbo’s “unexpected” adventure!

Hello everybody! Today’s the anniversary of the release of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas! Just as Halloween - and Christmas for that matter - isn’t complete without watching the movie (at least once), the same can be said of the original poem that inspired it.
Below is the video that I posted last year narrating Tim Burton’s story in celebration of the film’s 30th anniversary, complete with illustrations hand-drawn by him as well!

Even though I wasn’t dressed like Jack Skellington himself in this video, I was still in keeping with his spirit while singing this song! I even added an extra intro dialogue to give the song more impact instead of just getting right into it. Attention my friends and followers..."terrible news"! It is with a heavy heart that I must say that Ken Page, the actor who famously voice Oogie Boogie in Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas, has passed away in his sleep at the age of 70. As you can see, even Jack Skellington is sad about the news like we all are! This is actually scary because around this time last year, we lost Paul Reubens, who played both Pee-Wee Herman and Lock (from Nightmare). As is expected in history, no one lives forever, nevertheless it's even more painful when those we grew up with pass away UNEXPECTEDLY! With that said, I plan to pay tribute to Page by doing a short video at the end of the month as well as a MAJOR project in the future relating to the "Nightmare" story.
