I get asked a lot about artisan weapons.

I haven't covered them because how big an impact shell power do and they all have normal power at this moment.

If you get a gunlance with normal power and other with s. power both with the same attack, the s. power will have a whooping 22% better damage on anything shell related.

This means that they aren't good for your conventional gunlance builds and I need to do proper unique builds and roll a nice one and that takes a lot of time. I don't want to do a video without being able to compare a perfect roll artisan with your current gunlances since I don't like to theorycraft.

So, until that time. If you are using other weapons types, spend your artisan mats there. Otherwise get hold on them for the moment.

The most common doubt I'm getting is something like "shouldn't be normal the best at fullbursting?" or "should fullburst or wsfb with wide at all?"

My next video is to try to compare the strongest gunlances of each type and demonstrate how they vary using different variations of the combos.

With the shell types out of the way, I think that should just rush the rest the high rank and do the upgrade progression for high rank.

I want to do criticism of how the attack has ruined the balance of the shell types... but thanks to that screw up I having a lot of fun with wide being able to do everything and not being restricted to wsfb spam.

My plans for today is first, do a video with a quick demonstration of the brand new effect of the load shells, focus and artillery skills and then finally with all the info of these days make maybe too late first edition of my gunlance guide, that should be out this afternoon or tomorrow morning.
I still don't know lots of things and some other requires further research.
I'm thinking in doing living guides. That it is to republish the gunlance guide with all the new information it is always updated with at least one monthly edition.

Also, if you have noticed I have been uploading videos with all my different formats. This was an experiment to see the feedback, reach, likes and see what people like the most.

I will keep using my old voice of always in the videos avoiding only the text.
Tsubaki, my wife will still do voice overs of some videos and she will be always with be while streaming.

The most asked question in today's stream was about artillery for gunlance In Monster Hunter Wilds.

Artillery is NOT available without rng before beating the main plot aka Low Rank so I have been unable to directly test it.

I will do as soon as I find one decoration or equipment with it.

Additional note, fire might be not the fire element. In the hunting notes refers to the shell damage as fire that cuts through defenses:

My old text to speech I have been using for 3-4 years it is showing up its age that is the reason why I mostly avoid it these days.
I want to change it to something more natural.

The new season of Monster Hunter Now sure is full for a lot of good stuff for gunlance.
I haven't got time to go hunting yet, but you should be on the watch at least for rajang belt for an awesome focus 3.
The Akno skill for reloading shells when guarding also will take a spotlight.
And I need to see how good blast it is with wyrmstake. Magno gl is at a single glance a better bone gunlance, is not jho gunlance but with the event will be easy to farm.

As always, will do the video once I get stuff and can show it first hand since I hate to do stuff without first hand experience.
