Rob Kajiwara
Rob Kajiwara is an Okinawan musician, activist, and scholar based in Okinawa City. He is founder and president of the Peace For Okinawa Coalition, dedicated to promoting Luchu / Okinawan culture, history, languages, and rights. In 2018 - 19 Kajiwara petitioned to stop the illegal construction of the U.S. military base at Henoko, Okinawa receiving over 212,000 signatures. www.RobKajiwara.com

So far we have done private test screenings of our documentary film 'Occupied Okinawa' in Luchu (Okinawa), Fuzhou, and the Philippines. Test screenings are important in order to learn what changes need to be made. The film is currently being finalized and will then be submitted to international film festivals. We also plan to show the film at the UN next year. If you would like to see our film, please leave a comment saying which country / region / city we should show the film at!
