The Zeek Project is currently exploring the viability and interest of the community in having a Zeek Week in 2024. Would you attend an US-based in-person Zeek Week event that around October?
We are hosting a “meet the developers” get-together in Amsterdam on 31 May. We would like to interact with local community members and discuss the Zeek roadmap and related issues. Remember to register so we get the logistics right. go.corelight.com/zeek-day
We want to know what you think about #Zeek! We're running a survey until 10 Feb -- no login or identifiers required unless you want to talk with us directly. Share your thoughts on how you use Zeek to defend your environment or conduct network research: zeek.org/survey
I’m pleased to announce that ZeekWeek 2022 videos are continuing on YouTube. Our next round of video premieres will take place at 11 am ET on 15-17 November (Tuesday-Thursday). For details, see the channel listing.
Remember, THURSDAY at 11 am ET is the premiere of the latest Zeek in Action video -- Comparing Zeek Connection Logs with NetFlow Records. This episode is about 33 minutes. After completing it, I realized I had more to say about the records themselves, so I will likely record a second video on that topic shortly. This video shows how the deployment of NetFlow collection differs from Zeek, and how to set up a lab to compare the two capabilities. I will be in the chat Tuesday during the premiere to answer questions. See you then. -Richard
