💪 Who else is a big fan of the caped look? I wish I knew what year Earl Norem created this, as one would assume it inspired the red-caped He-Man we got in the 1987 movie. Then again, you know what they say about making assumptions 😅
Earl Norem was such a boss 🔥 His Masters of the Universe artwork is the stuff of legend. If I had the means, my walls would be adorned with original Norem and McQuarrie masterpieces.
According to the Battle Ram blog, this glorious work of art featuring Leech & Mantenna appeared in the Summer 1985 issue of Masters of the Universe Magazine.
Who treated their sister's Pillow People like WWF Wrestling Buddies?! Released in 1986, they came with names like Sweet Dreams, Pillow Fighter, Mr. Sandman, Rock-A-Bye Baby, Punky Pillow, and Big Footsteps. They even got their own animated Christmas special in 1988.
