Blessing is walking under bright sunlight.
Suddenly she notices something strange.
Her shadow is in front of her.
BLESSING:
Wait. Shadows don’t do that.
The Shadow turns around and speaks — calmly, confidently.
SHADOW:
Today, I’m leading.
Blessing stops.
BLESSING:
Since when?
SHADOW:
Since you learned to listen before moving.
Blessing squints.

So… I’m following my shadow now?
SHADOW:
No. You’re following wisdom.
The shadow moves slowly. Deliberately.
