Well everyone, I finally got a new song releasing soon, on October 24th, and for this I decided to bring back an old game on my channel that I haven't run in a few years: title guessing!
The rules are as follows:
-In the comments below, guess the title of the song, using the clue given here
-Get it on your first try before anyone else does, you earn 1 point
-Do the above for 3 releases in a row, you win 1 month of Discord Nitro (full) on the house; HOWEVER, if you break the streak before then, your score is reset back to 0

For easier and more transparent documentation, however, I'm changing one rule: guesses may only be submitted in the comment section of this YouTube post; submitting anywhere else (i.e. Twitter, Discord, etc.) will clear your streak. Guesses are due October 21st. Happy hunting, and I will see you then with the title announcement!

A pair of updates regarding the availability of my music; read them in full if you want, but TLDRs:
-All Synfang releases are being pulled from Spotify within the next 2 weeks; I recommend YT Music or Newgrounds for free alternative access to my work, or Tidal or Bandcamp if you wish to support me more.
-All releases from this point onward will have radio edits only on free streaming; full/extended mixes (generally 5-7 minutes) will be kept to paid services, but if you want to remix my music, reach out directly and you'll get both a free copy of the full project file (or stems for non FL users) as well as permission and assistance with distribution.

At this time, I've decided that I'm going to go on hiatus from releasing music for the foreseeable future. To answer a few questions about this...

1) Why? Elseworld opened to lows I haven't seen since 2018 despite my best efforts, plus I've also struggled with burnout/artist's block/etc. for a few months now; on multiple fronts, whatever I'm doing isn't working, and until I figure out a genuine fix, I should give it a rest.
2) If/when I'm coming back? ...I'd like to. I really would. But I can't promise anything till I'm sure I have the energy and knowledge to make a return work.
3) What can you do to help? If you can, I'd appreciate any advice you have on low-cost consistent marketing/promotion (I've seen upcoming artists flop with budgets costing more than would bankrupt me firsthand) that gets real engagement. For those who can't... streams, likes, comments (criticism welcome, but keep it constructive and preferably precise)... any engagement you can offer helps, on the uploads themselves; a "good job" on Discord isn't helpful for feedback or the algorithm.

Anyway, apologies for the textwall; just needed to put this all out there so you have the answers you need while I look for the ones I need. Hope to be back soon, but in the meantime, see you around.

Okay, so The Final Countdown was seemingly the winner of the last poll I posted, as of this writing. However, I'd now like to expand this poll further to include ideas that aren't currently in the works but are songs I've been pondering doing remixes of lately. Note that there is a fair chance that I do both the first and second place winners of this poll, so don't worry that not picking The Final Countdown means losing out on that despite it winning the previous poll. Hi all! So, I'm thinking this year I want to put a little more emphasis on remixes than I have in the past few years; I currently already have 2 remixes slated for release in 2025 (specifically, an orchestral dubstep remix of "Wilfre's Wasteland 3" from Drawn To Life: The Next Chapter (DS), and a melodic techno remix of "All The Right Moves" by OneRepublic), but I want to add in at least one more for the year, and am undecided what I want to add in. At present I have 4 remix WIPs on the shelf, and I thought I'd field to you which option you'd like to hear. So, you can all vote on which option you'd like, or, if you have another idea, feel free to comment a suggestion, and I might run with that if I like it enough. Happy new year to you all!
