I'm tearing up while making her video. It's so heavy on my heart. I'm glad we've been given a chance to remember what happened back then. As a woman, I'm fortunate not to have experienced what Lola Hak-sun went through, but I am so, so sad for all the women who were forced to endure it.

This isn't meant to sow hatred towards anyone. It's just to remember our history. May the events of the past be a lesson for us to respect and protect women more. There were Filipinas who also suffered the same fate during World War II, so I deeply feel that pain. Remembrance and respect. That's all.
