I always thought that the Thread Raker enemies look surprisingly similar to Relic Seeker Scrounge and Vaultkeeper Caridinius. Scrounge and Caridinius both have a centipede-like design and a clear obsession with hoarding relics. But there's no lore about it for the Thread Rakers, they are just like every other Moorbugs.

That got me thinking, what if the Thread Rakers would love relics just as much as the others, but they just never had the chance, for their whole lives have been consumed by labor, leaving no room for desire, curiosity, or even the tiniest spark of joy?

What happens when a Thread Raker finally gets their hands on a relic?

I’m at Anime Magic this weekend at booth 250! This is my first big convention, and everything is going well so far.

I’m surrounded by so many talented artists, and I’ve already met lots of really cool people. It’s also awesome seeing how excited people are to find Rain World stuff at my booth!
