Thanks to everyone who responded to my last poll. I’ll be uploading that panel reaction video either next week or the week after. We also got some interesting posts from Cody Christian and Britt Baron’s Instagram pages where it looks like they may have been in the same recording studio together at the same time. I’ll be talking about that hopefully in Monday’s video which should also include the next part of the Ever Crisis Battle for the Planet story event (should that go live on Saturday). Hey everyone. Back in December of last year I recorded a reaction to an FF7 panel that I never uploaded. I shelved it because I felt like I didn’t really add much to the conversation and the video was a lot longer than I was expecting. Would you guys still be interested in seeing it? I felt like the panel itself had some great cast moments in it.

Resident Evil Requiem launches tonight! For those of you who may not know, I’ve been a fan of RE slightly longer than Final Fantasy. So it’s a franchise that’s been with me for 30 years now. I can’t wait to finally play it and experience how great it is. Returning to Raccoon City is going to be insane.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will be holding a new story event titled “The Weapon Showdown: Battle for the Planet” to celebrate the games 2.5 Year Anniversary. The story will focus on Aerith and Sephiroth battling it out for the fate of the planet with Sephiroth using the weapons to try and stop her. The trailer gives us our first look at the Ultimate Weapon too! I wonder if this design will be used in Remake Part 3. Sounds like it’ll be an exciting event.

Edit: I’m guessing this Ultimate Weapon design is meant to be a more updated version of the original VII’s design. Part 3’s will probably be different.

Today is my 4 Year YouTube anniversary (I made videos off and on before then, but this is when I actually began taking it seriously). Since then I managed to put out at least 1 video a week every week for 4 years straight. Thanks to everyone who keeps checking out the channel and supporting the videos. Have a good weekend!

A while back Naoki Hamaguchi said they were working to bring Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s PC lighting improvements to the PS5. Well looks like those improvements will be hitting soon! I’m curious to see how the game looks after the update.

I have no clue how rare this draw is, but I managed to get Vincent’s Ultimate Weapon in Ever Crisis. Not only does he do insane damage now, but he also gets his Limit Break almost immediately. Can’t wait to see ol’ Vincenzo in Part 3. If his Ever Crisis move set is any indication then he’s gonna be super flashy and fun.

Happy 29 years to Final Fantasy VII! Tetsuya Nomura shared some concept art created during the early development phase of FFVII. This time with added commentary. Cloud, an undefined Avalanche type character and Johnny the Needle (whose characteristics would eventually go to Reno), and a massive two headed dragon. It’s so cool to see how far Nomura’s artistry has come. Onwards to Remake Part 3!
